Complete Tractor 1107-0004 Tach Tachometer Cable Compatible with/Replacement for Ford Tractor 600 800 Naa Jubilee /B9Nn17365B

It says the manufacturer is "complete tractor" but I got one from Atlantic parts made in India. Thats the brand I had before that chewed itself in half after only 2 hours, and I thought I was buying a different brand this time. Lets hope this one doesn't. I'll update when/if it does. I'm a little irritated that ATLANTIC was not listed as the brand being sold..... I wouldn't have bought it.Update 30 days later.... I finally had time to install this cable and it lasted, I kid you not... 30 seconds. Both ends tore right off. Its not the drive or the proofmeter, as I put an old one on and it works fine. This cable is just terrible quality junk. I filed for a refund/return.

Can anyone tell me why something like this isn’t tested before it’s shipped. It screwed on to the tachometer just fine but I reckon it was because they were both made in China. When I went to connect the other end it was like connecting black iron pipe it would not tighten up cable housing flopping around not tight at all. It would only screw on about 1/8” had to cut the end off and put a shim in it to make it work.

The square end of the cable that fits in the tachometer was too large. I tried filing it down, and pressed it into the tachometer. I then bench tested the tachometer, using a battery powered drill. Then the other end, came off. Highly disappointed in this product. I reordered a different brand. I would not recommend this item.

This is a cheap part. Do not buy.

Although this didn't fit my Ford 640 original proof meter, I got a good response and a quick refund.

Cable too long on the proofmeter end, and so when it is installed it doesn't turn feely. Took two cables before I figured out it was the cable length.
