UPDATE 26Feb20: After I informed them of my problem (see below) and that I'd returned the headset for an Amazon refund, Xintronics very kindly replaced my headset free of charge. It arrived today direct from China, and I'm pleased to say it's working perfectly. So I've increased my rating to Five Stars to reflect their excellent customer service and great product!This headset would have been perfect for my needs (just a simple phone headset, as I like to be hands-free at my office desk so I can use both hands on my PC keyboard when on the phone). Unfortunately, after just one phone call, it developed a fault on the microphone which caused a dreadful crackling in the headphones and on the recipient's phone. The crackling disappeared when the headset microphone was turned off (using the inline switch on the headphone's cable). I've given it two stars because on the one call I managed to make, it sounded OK (though the full volume could have been louder for me, and I couldn't hear my own voice in the headphones, which was a bit off-putting) and it was comfortable to wear. (See Update above.)

Tried 2 of these as I assumed the 1st was faulty, they never showed any sign of life when connected to my standard BT line and BT phone. . Great pity as it seems well made and should have been exactly what we wanted.Xintronics contacted me and it appears that some BT phones use pins 2 and 5 on the plug that goes into the phone whereas other makes mostly use the center 2 pins (3 and 4), I tried the XT400 on an iDECT make phone and it worked well, so I made a lead that used pins 2 and 5 and got the headset working very well on the BT phone. I believe that the guys at Xintronics are going to include an alternative cable to enable the XT400 to connect with some BT phones that use pins 2 and 5.If the plug arriving at the phone has only 2 pins in the center of it then this should work as supplied.I don't know anything about phones with an extension socket, all the above relates to the use of the provided line splitter and a phone with 1 input socket.

I couldn't get this thing to work. I tried all the little cables in different combinations (the setup instructions are terrible) and no joy - it was just completely dead. Then I saw a comment about a different device. That user had had the same problems and plugged the device into the ADSL port on a broadband filter (the one that has a little fly cable with a BT plug on it, and has two sockets, one for a BT style phone and the other for your ADSL router). With nothing to lose I tried and hey presto, it worked. So I now use two broadband filters. One for my broadband and a second for this headset.

extremely good - easy to set up and use

I have been using this since May 2020. Last 5 months working well, but now not working the On / Off switch. As a result after 2/3 minutes the switch automatically turn off.

This comes with loads of attachments for all types of phones, it's comfy to wear and the mic is great.

Bien mientras funcionaba, buen sonido y buena recepción, comodos y aíslan muy bien. Ahora solo oigo pero no me oyen, debe de haberse roto el micrófono. A tirar de garantía a ver qué tal responden.Me he puesto en contacto con la empresa por email explicando la situación y me han mandado unos nuevos sin coste alguno. Bien por el servicio postventa. Ya los tengo en casa, satisfacción al 100%, un 10 para la empresa y mi total recomendación.

Muy práctico para atender el teléfono tanto por el auricular como puedes descolgar.Sencillos per cumplen perfectamente su función, buen sonido.Se puede descolgar y colgar la llamada con el botón que incorporan.
