This works really well for what I purchased it for. Little pills on the edge of the sofa. I have a large sofa with 2 recliners on ends and a catch all area in the middle. This is where my dog likes to jump on and so it had a lot of pilling. I was afraid to just pull it off, afraid of making holes. I saw this demonstrated on the Today show so I ordered it from Amazon. Very happy with it so far. I haven't had a chance to try it on too much else but hoping that it works just as well on other fabrics, like my jeans. There is a pull I am also afraid to just cut off.

I would give this product more stars if I could! It is incredible to remove pills from my clothes. I have a nice Patagonia jacket that was pilling and when reading online I saw the recommendation for the little manual combs. After doing more research, I found this one from Electrolux and my biggest decision was "Which of the 2 fabulous colors?" It's super easy to use. It charges easily, the battery length is great, it has 3 power levels, is easy to empty and clean and has never snagged my clothes. You just have to be willing to put the time into covering your entire area of pillage. The end result is amazing. You'll start seeing friends and strangers who have clothes with pills and be thinking, "If they only knew about this product!"My family and I have used this so much - I just wish I'd known about it much sooner!I was not paid for my honest review.

I have been buying Electrolux appliances for decades. They always cost a little more and they are always worth the extra money. The shaver is lightweight, but powerful. It feels really good in the hand. I love the larger shaver head and the ease with which it glides over fabric. It’s easy to clean fast to charge And even comes with a nice storage box. I’m betting like all of my other Electrolux appliances. this one goes the distance! Very highly recommended.

I was about to throw out a lot of mixed blend socks when I saw this being used on a YouTube video. I had nothing to lose so I purchased this. My socks looked nearly new after use. I have also used it on an old sweater, on the sides of my mattress and a few other objects. Some people have said that there are no replacement blades? There are. You can get universal blades on Amazon!

This fabric shaver has worked well for me so far, but if I leave it idle for 2 seconds it starts to make this super loud and obnoxious screeching sound from the blades scratching up against the metal. I tried unscrewing the lid and readjusting the blades and screwing the lid back on but it didn’t work. I will still use this product since it works well for what it’s designed for, but definitely wear earplugs if you’re sensitive to sounds like I just described. Battery life is long and I am able to clean out the lint clumps from the catch easily. I like the different power settings it has. Just as a warning though, DO NOT rub it on any creases or threads in your clothing or fabric, it will catch the crease/thread and rip the surrounding area to shreds. I was removing pillings and lint from my pajamas and I ran over a small crease in the clothing that I didn’t think much of and now I have a big hole in my pajama shirt that I will have to sew up. I have multiple holes in the shirt just from using this product so be careful with it, especially if you’re using it on fragile fabrics.

I actually use mine to go over my face after shaving with my other shaver to get an even closer shave . It collects everything so no mess to clean up all over the sink and floor . Gets the ears good just watch the lips unless u got hair their to . Going to even try on the crotch and manscape here soon

oh my gosh!!! hesitated to spend $ on this. what was i thinking? it’s amazing. it is well-made it is nice and light. It works amazing. It does not damage the fabric. I don’t see a way that it could damage anything. It is easy to use. It is easy to empty. It comes completely charged so you can open up your package and you can just start using it right away inside the package. It says that one charge lasts for 45 minutes. I think I was working for more than 45 minutes and still had some charge left. It has three speeds of power and it has suction so it lifts up the little phrase on the couch and sucks them into the chamber and cuts them. it comes in a great box that is great for storage and will be sturdy enough to use probably for years. I would recommend this item to anyone.

We bought this for our new sofa and chairs after noticing that the cats' nails leave little threads now and again and our cheapo shaver just wasn't cutting it. It removes pulled threads, pills on clothing and comforters, and doesn't require much pressure at all. It also seems to hold a charge for quite some time, which is a bonus in a busy household. It's sturdy and holds up well to regular use so I expect this to last us a while.
