There are three boys in the home and as you can imagine, they are constantly running. The carpets were slipping and my wife was bored with this situation. We used it to only one edge of the carpet and the result is amazing. It never slips anymore.

Very effective! We have some great rug pads that stay in place on our wood floors, but the area rugs on them have smooth backing and kept wandering off the pads. We used this tape to securely attach the two - now the rugs stay in place. The tape has a mesh for strength and VERY sticky adhesive. I wouldn't want to apply it directly to flooring - removing it and any glue residue could be close to impossible. Removing the backing paper is a little challenging, and the scissors we used to cut it had to be debunked of residual glue (Goof-off did the trick). But it works so well that these aren't downsides.

EDIT! The 4 small sized pieces I originally put down lasted seven months! Two of the pieces finally gave out. I was nervous when I had to pull the sticky tape off of my LVP flooring. I was not sure what I was gonna find pulling it up. Not only did it come up easy, but it did zero damage to my floors! I love this stuff! Don’t hesitate to purchase! I bought this tape, hoping it would work to keep our entryway rug down. It was constantly sliding all over. This stuff worked great! I put it on about a month ago and The rug is still exactly where I put it. There are six people in this house and two large dogs plus all the vacuuming and the rug has not moved at all. I did not find it difficult to work with as some reviews stated. I used a razor blade to cut the tape to the size I wanted. The tape is nice and durable and was a great purchase that I would highly recommend if you’re trying to keep a rug in place!

This is some very good carpet tape, I mean, real sticky and not too hard to peel.

Works great on rugs has a very good hold lots of tape on the roll very strong and easy to come off the roll cut really easy with scissors

Loooove this stuff. Bought it for craft projects so can’t attest to its adhesive properties on actual carpet or anything like that but works great for what I need! Even used it for a quick last minute job for my kids Halloween costume lol tossed it on right before taking my kids trick or treating and it held up all night even with putting it on wet paint

Excellent product! I used several rolls to stick down the edges when laying vinyl flooring over laminate. I had a bad experience with another brand that was thin and barely stuck at all, but this was perfect. Strong adhesive that grabs immediately, and decent thickness, but still easy to work with (tip: cut to length with a knife, not scissors). Goes a long way too, I used 3 rolls to lay vinyl in 3 rooms and have some left for other projects. Would definitely buy again, made the job so much easier.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Really sticky tape. Have used on a caravan floor to stick down some lino. One roll was more than enough. It was reasonably easy to peel once on the floor. Have only given 4 stars as I just don't know how good it'll be (but I'm confident that it'll be great given how sticky it was!!).

It works for short time. I have nearly used the whole reel on one rug in our hall. It has a lot of footfall. Every other day the rug rouches up and I need to reapply tape- I did so today. . A tip for use: as the tape is strong, use a piece of the plastic backing across the underside where you are cutting This stops the scissors sticking to the tape, making it so much easier to cut. I’m surprised the manufacturer doesn’t advise this.

Absolutely fantastic, every single day since I have had my rug in carpet in my lounge it has moved and I had to pull it back into place, put this tape on and it has not budged, highly recommended.?
