These sensors are game changers
These Mopeka sensors work well and add a new level of convenience to monitoring propane levels. There was a period where this new Universal model was incompatible with the Victron Cerbo GX, but I am happy to report that this situation has been resolved. I can check the levels using the Mopeka app; and they now show up on the Cerbo as well. How far we've come from having to pop open the propane compartment and look at a gauge that may or may not be accurate.A few installation tips:— The process is very easy; however, you will be asked to position the sensor so its position appears inside a little circle that shows in the Mopeka app. I've never seen anyone successfully do this, either in person or in a YouTube video. It seems like the best one can expect is for the position indicator to be touching the little circle. Don't sweat this. Everything will still work. I ended up using a ruler to position the sensor.— My least favorite thing about this product is the fact that there is nothing to hold it in the spot that you've so carefully measured out. The sensor has pretty powerful magnets to hold it to the tank, but once you lube it up with dielectric grease it will slide around on the tank's surface. Annoying. Mopeka does offer a collar that can be stuck on the bottom of your LPG tank with 3M VHB tape to lock the sensor into position. This is what I have done. (The company makes two different collars. Make sure you get the one for LPG tanks.)— These sensors come with three little aluminum spacers designed to clip to the bottom of your tank in order to provide extra clearance. You may or may not need them. I did. These spacers can come loose. I would suggest using an adhesive/sealant to lock them in place. Also, these will definitely scratch up whatever the tank is sitting on.— For those needing spacers but not wanting to scratch up their propane tank compartment, Mopeka offers the "Halo", a plastic ring that goes on the bottom of your tank. These will also need to be attached with an adhesive/sealant if you want them to stay on. Unfortunately, these Halos offer less additional clearance compared to the free aluminum spacers. If you choose to use the collar I mentioned earlier, the Halos probably won't work for you. They didn't for me. Seems like this is something that Mopeka should have been able to anticipate.— Keep in mind that these spacers protect your Pro Check sensor when it's sitting on a flat surface. The teenage kid filling your tank can still set the tank down on an uneven surface or a rock and crush it. And if this kid drags the tank on the ground and knocks off one of the spacers, the sensor could get damaged on a flat surface. Bottom line: pay attention when someone else is handling your LPG tank.I'm tempted to deduct a star due to the incompatibility between the Mopeka Halos and the collars but this is a review of the sensor itself, so I won't. These sensors are game changers. I love them and I recommend these as the best solution for anyone with a propane tank they want to monitor. Five stars.

Great System
These sensors are awesome. Wish I would've bought them years ago. Easy to download the app. Easy to setup the sensors. I also have a Cerbo GX with a touchscreen GX and the sensors connect to that system so I can easily see my propane levels. Used to rely on pouring hot water down the side of the tank and watching for the frost line.

Seem to work well
I only installed two of these on my RV propane tanks yesterday. They were very easy to setup and both sensors had fully charged batteries. One tank was recently filled and not used and sensor indicated a 100% filled tank. Phone app is very simple. Time will tell but first indications are positive.

Seems to work very well
The use case for which this was bought is a horizontal 15gal steel petrol tank.Placed on such a tank known to be roughly full, and the sensor quickly read 91%.Placed on another nearly empty tank and it read 36%.I have since filled the second tank with this device applied, and the app showed in real time the tank fill level increasing from 36% up to 96%.I don't need exact volumes for my uses, I just want to know where the level is and top off a tank without being able to see down into it for the visual level.Installation was quick. As others said the directions are too wordy. The graphics in the app and some fields are propane-centric, and it's not clear they mean gasoline by "gas."I was impressed with how well and easily the first unit worked, and I've since purchased two more. One for my second tank, and the other for a family member to monitor their 20lb propane tank.

How did I not know about these??
The price was a little off-putting at first, but the peace of mind it gives me on my trips in my RV made it worth it quickly.Seems very accurate (I purposefully ran down one tank to test and it was pretty much spot on) and was easy to install them.App works well

Not impressed
The principle behind the sensors function is simple. Or, at least it should be if the sensor is thoughtfully designed.I have two 100# (25 gallon) tanks feeding multiple devices on my property. Tanks are mounted in an enclosure with a level base made of concrete pavers. A nice level, unchanging surface. The tanks only move when they need to be serviced or filled. Should be an ideal setup.Like most all propane tanks, the bottom of the tanks are rounded. There is no support ring - instead, the tanks sit on wheels and a metal support when vertical. The tanks CAN be used horizontally, but we don't. There is abundant clearance for the sensor.Due to the typical rounded tank, the sensor does not sit perfectly flat. A thoughtful design could fix that (3 magnets with some protrusion, for example), but that little detail was lost on whomever designed this product.Like some others have commented, we found one sensor seemed to work, at least at first. When a second sensor was activated on the adjacent tank, it went tilt. Two tanks, both newly filled today: One reads full (most of the time) and the other read 32% full when the tank was empty, then totally empty once it was completely full. Huh?!9 hours dealing with this, I contacted Mopeka Customer Service. The email response said, among other irrelevant things, that they "need to hire more sales and support staff." I don't want to hear excuses why they can't support their product, or won't.Returning the product. It just does not work as advertised, nor is it properly designed to do so.

Great product!
This works great and is easy to use. There are plenty of YouTube vids if you need help syncing the sensor to your phone or the little LED receiver. Turns out I didn't need the rubber ring spacers because the kit with sensors has spacers that can be used or not. The magnets are strong, but for extra security I also use the plastic stick on universal fit holders. Very happy with this purchase. I can very accurately see the propane levels on my camping trailer.
