Beautiful read
Did you used to keep a journal or write diary entries when you were in school? I have always had a fondness for this activity and still enjoy indulging in it. Moreover, I still have my diary from when I was in seventh grade. Reading those entries fills me with a sense of nostalgia.'The 90s Kid, Diary of a Lost Generation' by Prathamesh is a captivating and nostalgic journey through the eyes of Yash, the protagonist. The author captures the essence of growing up in the 90s, making it relatable to those who experienced that era.The book delves into the impact of societal changes on personal relationships and career choices, making it thought-provoking and introspective. This book took me on a journey to the olden days of innocence, reminding me of a time when things were simpler. In contrast to the complexities of modern times, I found myself longing for the nostalgia that this book evoked. With its relatable passages, it not only captures the essence of the past but also imparts valuable lessons on perseverance and maintaining hope in difficult circumstances. The 90s Kid' is a good read for anyone seeking a dose of nostalgia and a well-crafted story.

A soulful read
The 90's kid: Diary of a lost generation by PrathameshWe all pour our emotions in diary for various reason. So has Yash. But he's given to a few people to make them understand why he did whatever it was.Why didn't he cry on his own mother's death? Was he not hurting or was he trying to pretend. Whatsoever maybe the reason, but why has he abandoned his parents? What's in the diary? As a child he wa always curious about why were girls different from boys? Who were Hindus and who were Muslims? Yash didn't do well in academics but his parents insisted he should try but he failed terribly. Cricket was his only love. He was restricted on playing it. He could only watch. He was abused and punished for poor performance. And when he grows up he meets Sharvari. She gives him these mixed feelings but she was in another relationship. Things change but Yash's love for cricket and his views on politics will never end. I like Yash's dad . His character in the end is portrayed beautifully. Even Mitali's charcter was a great choice. I don't belong to 90's but there were so many things to relate to.Overall, author has done a brilliant job in choosing the right topics and right words.Appealing language is used.Highly recommended.

A heartfelt honest book , go for it
The radical changes in India's social and economic landscape didn't happen with good notions. It was a good time, it was a bad time, and it created havoc in our childhood. This book reminisces all those forgotten emotions, yanked it and again plunging into the heart.Whenever we reminisce about our childhood we often look back at everything that has happened around us. Directly or indirectly we are a part of the nation's history in writing. We may be mere observers, yet the world around us changes drastically through our perception. How impactful is this change in our personal relationships or career and profession? In this book, Prathamesh takes us on one such journey with Yash, he is 90's kid.'The 90s Kid, Diary of a Lost Generation' will resonate with everyone who grew up in the 90s and readers who relish good stories, stories that go deep down inside our hearts. In his diary Yash wrote about social and political activities that impacted our lives and our relationship, sports, movies, movie stars, sports stars, how they became our motivation, careers, and everything you want to talk about itIn a striking style of writing his diary, Yas poured down his heart, his happiness, his sorrows, his friends, his closeness, his distances, an absolute emotional rollercoaster journey, a truth we dare to say about it. I am glad I picked up this book, it will be closest to my heart. I recommend it to all who were born in the 90s and who don't, but love reading great stories.
