Fantastic piece of kit
Fantastic piece of kit. Easy to connect from TV optical audio output through the Lindy box into my TEAC analogue amp. Works extremely well and I am very impressed with the quality of sound. Used for sky TV and bluray and what a difference good audio makes. I'd thoroughly recommend this.

The audio quality of this Lindy product above is superb and highly recommended if you have a digital output (Toslink or S/PDIF
I personally use this in conjunction with a CYP digital signal splitter (also bought and available through Amazon) to combine a pair of amps to run at the same time/simultaneously from just one signal that the CYP splits. The audio quality of this Lindy product above is superb and highly recommended if you have a digital output (Toslink or S/PDIF, perhaps on your pc or tv optical out had one of the other, it caters for both kinds of input connector) and want at the very least stereo sound as you only have an analogue speaker system (which is ultimately the primary purpose of this device). Perhaps it's obvious but of course you won't get surround sound, let alone Dolby/DTS compressed signals, only stereo once your uncompressed digital signal exits this device but the sound quality of this stereo output is second to none. Great product at a very reasonable price, I just took the configuration that little bit further to benefit from both my Technics surround amp and my m-audio analogue amplified reference studio monitors all to run and output audio simultaneously.. this double amp scenario I'm running is quite the setup if anyone's interested in kicking your walls down with sound with no discernible noise to pollute the signal stream.

Good quality but pricey
This works straight out of the box. The quality is much better than cheaper equivalents with no hum. Pricey but worth it. No volume control.

Very good value
Great value for money, it works fine, I have not made any serious listenings yet... I may come back with more...

Sound keeps cutting out when used with Samsung TV
Used this with a Samsung TV, but the sound kept going quite every few minutes and then would click and cut out for a second before coming back on again. Might have just been a faulty item, but have sent it back and will order a different make in case this is typical of this item.

Lindy sound issues
Looked like exactly what I needed to play the digital sound from my tv to my analogue stereo system and looked well made. However I am not happy with its performance, while the sound is generally good, the volume fades intermittently before coming back. It only lasts for a second or so, but is very annoying. I dont know if my unit is faulty or if it is a general issue with the product, but because of this I cannot really recommend this product.
