Do you think the red rubber grip will mark or harm my Suede boots? Thank you

They shouldn't. I use it on tan cowhide and it doesn't leave any marks. I think it is a great boot jack.I apologize. I looked more closely and there IS SOME MINOR RED MARKING ON THE LEATHER from the boot jack. It doesn't show up well on the brown leather but it does leave a mark.

Does it have anything on the bottom to protect wood floors?

I do not think it would mar a wooden floor, but as suggested, you could easily glue felt on

Has anyone used this with wider heel boots like winter or snow boots?

Hi, I use this for my Lacrosse hunting boots and it works. The only problem I have is that the red where you insert your heal rubs off on the boot. I placed plastic wrap around the tips but it gets messy and I shouldn't have to do that. I would recommend some other without the red.

Made in usa, or imported? the description says both.

Dear KENNA, This is my opinion: So many of our suppliers and manufacturing industries are tied into China’s (cheaper than USA’s) labor force. Therefore, many industries send the materials to China to be assembled into the finished product...which is then sent back to the United States companies to be distributed. China isn’t the only country doing business with America’s companies.... India, Pakistan, S. Korea, Mexico, Canada...just to name a few..... Unless the disclosure says made and manufactured in America, we consumers never know the entire tracking of products. This globalization of industry will eventually end after this world wide Coronavirus infection. At least the Made in China label won't be seen nearly as much as it is now. As someone who wears work boots nearly every day, especially in muddy or wet conditions, this has been a real game changer. I used to struggle to get my boots off - either doing the toe-heel balancing act or asking someone for help. Not anymore. This is solid build. Feels very durable. It is made from heavy duty plastic with non-slip rubber grip surface that holds the heel snugly. I have used it daily and there is no sign of cracking or wear. I can take my boots off without bending over which has been great for my lower back. Just step on it with one foot, wedge the other boot heel into the slot, and pull - easy and smooth. Large enough for size 13 steel toe boots and also fits smaller hiking boots with no issue. It is not bulky at all and fits nicely by the mud room door. It would be easy to toss in the truck bed or camper too. Put a doormat or towel underneath it if you are using it indoors. I keeps the area cleaner and prevents slipping if you are using it on tile or wood floors. This boot puller is one of those simple tools you don’t realize you need until you have one. This strong and commercially robust boot remover is in a class of its own. It has delicate soft rubber contact points to prevent marks on designer shoes and boots, but its strength is in its build and wide fork to accommodate all sizes of boots.
