Installed these domestically in our house on the stair landings. They are really bright if that's what you are looking for. Obviously the box is raised off the ceiling so check you are happy with that aesthetic. And also check if you want a bright or a warm light. If I'm honest we chose the bright and it is vastly different to our house lighting (way brighter) so does look at big strange - but we are happy with the light as that was the main objective. Great value and really simple to fit

I love this light - trouble is, I now find my other rooms feel dingy!! Looks like I'll have to replace all of those hanging pendants too! I bought 2x 300mm for my landing and they flood the stairs making it safer and easier to navigate. Fabulous clear, white.light. Unlike other energy-saving lights, they are instantaneous at the flick of the switch. Surface mounting was a doddle - even for this inexperienced DIY-er!

I bought three of these. Two for my kitchen and one for the garage. They are very easy to fit, although it helps if there are two people when fastening the actual light to the bracket. I like the neat square flush fitting, but be aware that almost all of the light is in a downward direction. Unlike fluorescent lights, very little light travels in a horizontal direction. You get a very bright light, but it is very cold and icy white. Nothing like "daylight". Great for a workshop or garage, maybe not for a living area though. The item supplied is labelled "panelhut" (.co.uk). I would have preferred "daylight" or even warm white rather than this Cool White, all are which are available by panelhut, but not stocked by this amazon seller. Unfortunately these LED lights knocked out most FM radio stations on my kitchen radio, and they also interfere with AM reception. I have not tried DAB. This is probably caused by the cheap switch mode transformer they use rather than the better quality linear psu. I have almost eliminated this problem by fitting four ferrite cores to each light. This cost me an extra £15, making these lights not quite such good value as it first seemed. If you DON'T have an AM or FM radio anywhere near to these lights, then please fell free to ignore this paragraph!

There is lots of choice of these type of lights but I think I made the right choice. I removed four 80w fluorescent tubes from my garage and replaced them with 9 of these. The difference was staggering. Crisp white light the floods the garage instantly, no comparison to the tubes. They look smart and show up just how messy my garage is! Just one minor observation, the mounting brackets have two threaded holes which I found hard to get the screw started in. After struggling with the first light I ran a tap through the threads and it was easy thereafter.

Arrived next day. Exactly what I wanted. Excellent product.

Very nice light and very very bright, nicely made and easy to install the cover is plastic the frame is metal and no bulb to change , this light will brighten up the darkest areas of your house and I think for the money it's excellent value.....

No fitting instructions, you have to remove ceiling fitting, and attach incoming power to blocks, bracket doesn`t clear rose plate

Light fitting arrived on time. Easy to fit (even though fixing screws/bolts were missing) Very bright. Just what we needed.
