This set comes with a nice array of colors. It was easy to use right out of the package and seals up after use pretty conveniently. The display of the colors aren’t as opaque and vivid as acrylic but they do apply smoothly and reflect a higher quality standard. Great starter set for any one who is interested in working with gouache paint while seeking quality at a good value.

For me the products I’ve worked with Arteza have always been good. These jelly gouache are no exception. They have a type of sheerness that reminds me of watercolors. I like working with these paints. I like that they included a DIY color chart so you can paint it in real time and see the actual color. I accidentally tipped my tubes over and thought that I wouldn’t be able to figure out which paints go with each color on the color chart. However, the paints are assigned a number that is marked on the side of the tubes. The case that the paints come in is very sturdy and durable. It has a handle on top for easy transportation. The case itself is very thick and keeps a tight hold on the paint tubes. If one of the paints dry out you can just add water to reconstitute the jelly gouache. This was a great find! These vibrant paints would be great for beginners or artists looking to try a new medium.

This is a great set. 24 colors, with ample quality, it is really waiting for your imagination to take off. The colors are very vivid and I do love the combination included in the 24 colors set. The paint is smooth and very creamy. Mixing colors seems to be an easy task too and as you expect from gouache paint, it is quite opaque, even after applying a generous amount of water (as expected).It came in a nice sturdy plastic container that has a very tight locking mechanism, which is quite important so that the paint does not dry out (yes, you can re-activate with water later). I also like that it came with a swatch card. It was the first thing that I've done, to create swatches so it is easy to refer to the colors later. The containers came with about 90% of the color paint in the same order as in the swatch card, but I personally like to keep them in the same order so I can find them quickly. I just had to re-arrange them, no big deal. This is a heavy set and I am planning on keeping it in the external plastic container.Here's the main issue that stopped me from giving 5 stars. The paint containers flimsy, they are supposed to be self adhesived so they can be closed and opened again. I'm not sure that is working well. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I just wish the set came in tubes instead. The top plastic cover (please refer to the photos) is sometimes hard to open and not all containers have the same exact amount of paint. You can see from the photos that sometimes it is hard to contain the paint upon opening the container.Other than that, this is a really great gouache paint and the colors are just awesome.
