I love this little timer!!! It is super cute, and I was expecting it to be plastic and cheap, but it is actually pretty durable and has a good weight to it. The alarm is only really quiet if you don't follow the instructions of turning it all the way to 55 before turning to the number you want it to be set at, it isn't like shrill loud bell, but it is perfect for when my kids are doing school and it doesn't wake up any sleeping babies which is a huge plus since I mainly use it during the babies naptime for the older kids schedules. I definitely recommend and it was worth the price.

Super cute and works great! We got this for a shower timer. (Teens like to take forever) This keeps the phone out of the bathroom and looks super cute!

The packaging came with very clear instructions to wind the timer all the way to 55 minutes, and *then* set it to the time you want. If you do this, it works exactly as described. If you don’t and you get mad that it doesn’t ring, I’ll have to assume you can’t read. Seriously. I was skeptical of this product due to the reviews until I tried it myself and realized a lot of the reviews are made by impatient people who either can’t or won’t read the short leaflet that is the first thing you see when opening the box. It’s a mechanical timer, not a digital one, of course it’s going to work differently than what you’re used to with alarm clocks. That said, when you follow the instructions, this product works excellently. I purchased it to use the Pomodoro method while I’m working from home, and this cute little fox guy sitting on my desk makes me want to use it all the time! It does tick, but I find it relaxing and it keeps me focused much like a metronome would. The ringing is also loud enough that I can definitely hear it from anywhere in my apartment, but it shuts off after a couple seconds on its own. It’s also much smaller in size than any clock I came across while still being easily legible. Easy to use, doesn’t clutter my desk, and overall a great deal for what I paid.

The racoon is very cute even though I ordered an owl. The timer itself worked very well. BUT the bell is not very loud. I had it sitting right beside me and I heard it but would not have heard it if had been in the kitchen. t rand exactly on the time I had set.

This timer has been a game changer with my toddler. He loved picking out the cute animal. We use it to set a timer for him to stop watching tv, go to bed, etc. and it has really helped us to have less fits at those transition times. The bell at the end is loud enough to hear but it is not obnoxious. The numbers are clear enough for my toddler to recognize and it turns easily enough that he can help me turn it. We have had great success with this timer!

If you're looking for extreme accuracy in time keeping, this may not be for you. But if you're looking to set approximate-time reminders to keep you from forgetting and burning yet another pot on the stove, then this little wind-up device might do quite nicely. Pluses: Doesn't need a battery. The little fox figurine feels like a helpful, cute kitchen friend. Adds some cheerful vibes to the kitchen counter.

Chrostmas gift for my daughter. I would give it zero if I could! Yes, we read the instructions and used it gently. My daughter even stored it in the original box. After a couple gentle uses, it broke and no longer keeps track of time. Dissapointed.
