These lab notebooks come with a handy periodic table to make sure your hard handwriting doesn't go onto the other copy paper sheets beyond the one you want to copy. That's good and cute and about the only advanced feature (if you can call it that) that you get from this product. It has a table of contents, but that table can often smudge. I would say that you should buy these if they are available for a good price and there is no other copy paper notebook you can buy. I would try to go for an electronic notebook if you are serious about doing science however. A notebook that can immediately copy what you write to an electronic backup is infinitely more helpful and less wasteful than these notebooks.If you are a student and you are not allowed to use an electronic notebook, I would suggest just finding the cheapest verion of this type you can find.

The only reason I gave it 4 star rating because the carbon paper underneath loose tension with the first paper and slips and then miswrite on the second copy. It's oki is not a huge deal just a little minor bug. Plus this is pricey :( for high school student anyways. The structure of the quality is great but you better keep sturdy! It can easily tear if you don't take care of it then go waste your money! and school work of course!

Needed this book for college lab

It's perfect. It wasn't made clear that it was bond at the top of the pages and not the left side of the pages. I would have had no problem with that but the pages aren't perforated like the ones in the left-side bond notebooks are. I risk destroying the page every time i go to tear one out to turn in to my professor.

Needed this notebook for chem labs, exactly as expected and worked well for the most part. After using this and seeing my classmates’ notebooks, I would recommend getting a spiral bound since it’s easier to use the carbon copies.

Nothing to write home about but it gets the job done.

I purchased this for my daughter who is studying as freshman in college with a major in chemical engineering and was needed for her chem lab. She liked the product and told me that it fits her needs for her chem-e lab. Based on her feedback I would definitely buy this product again without any hesitation. Five Stars!

Does what it’s intended to do. However, the way the pages flip is very awkward and hard to use. I recommend finding one that is spiral bound.
