Bedtime Stories For 5 Year Olds (Macmillan Children's Books Story Collections, 4)

My step granddaughter loves this book and, according to her mum, often reads from it. It's good value and ideal as a stocking filler or extra little gift!

Brilliant short stories, perfect bedtime reading. Grandson loved the stories.

This is a US book. First story about a tobacco farm and mules. Not recommended for English kids. Might have been appropriate 50 years ago

The stories are good and age appropriate for five year olds However don't buy if u think the children will be able to read this by themselves.It is more suitable for reading aloud to kids rather than just reading it themselves.Illustrations are also minimal. Five year olds lose interest if there are no pictures

It's fine. I read stories periodically to a grandson. I had to edit one on the fly as it was a story on a tobacco farm! Maybe that was acceptable 40 years ago, but not so much today. It quickly became a good, wholesome, grain farm.
