I purchased this 18.1 x 12.6 x 6.3 water resistant box to house my Tesla Wall Charger. I looked at several boxes designed for wall chargers.....all way too expensive. This works perfectly for my 18 foot cable, and looks very professional on the side of our house, and is 'considerably' lower cost. I added the Tesla vinyl sticker to make it look legit (Amazon also). It has ventilation, is very weather resistant, is lockable, and is perfect for an electric wall charger.....or any other type of electrical housing needs. If you are going to use as a wall charger and need a longer cable than 18 feet, you should get the next size up.

I ordered this to put an Industrial PC out on a controls cabinet at a job site. This site is outside in the weather, though the side of the building this is on rarely gets direct sunlight. I needed something that would be weather resistant, once installed, to keep the industrial PC running and not shorting out.This thing is perfect for my needs. I mounted the Industrial PC at the top, routed the power from the small UPS to it with ease, added all the extra 'connections' with water-resistant connections to the bottom (Network, USB, HDMI, etc.), and routed the power cable through a water-tight connection so that everything going in is secured through water-tight or water-resistant connections. Then, I powered it up and closed the door.This enclosure, with water-tight and water-resistant connections from another seller on Amazon, allows me to place this industrial PC anywhere I need to, connect power and network, and walk away. I've tested using an internal LTE connection (mounted on the backplane with the Industrial PC and the UPS (strapped down, since it doesn't have any mounts) and have a complete package unit that requires only power (to power up the UPS) and network (for connecting to the devices I'm working with) - Otherwise, it's a complete package unit.Pros:- Weather-resistant, though I've only tested it in an environment without direct sunlight- Water-tight, tested using a water hose in different angels prior to, and post, installation of the internal equipment- Spacious - I have room for my Industrial PC, a UPS, and a Cellular Connection device (it's not a Hotspot, but it works just like one, minus WiFi)Cons:- I've found no issues with this enclosure as of yet. It's a great design and very well implemented.

Purchased to house a Nest WiFi Pro under my shed. Nice sturdy enclosure and easy to install. Convenient breakaways for routing electrical cord for powering WiFi. Screens on vents would be a nice feature to prevent small insects.

Way better then the cheap plastic box that warps, then leaks rain water, and shorts out the timer and duplex outlet contained inside. This is a nice box for the money and what I should have bought originally. It has a plate on the bottom to drill and fit a waterproof wire flange and a nice seal around the opening door so, no water hopefully, and a nice door to prevent sticky fingers from the inside the box. That said, the lock is a little cheesy and not lockable but it does keep the door tightly closed and uses a plastic key and could be opened with a screwdriver, but it’s great for a rental unit with a sprinkler timer and duplex outlet that sits outside 24/7.

These are ok enclosures for pixel controllers, and their power supplies.The included mounting plate make them easy to use, and the built in vents keep condensation from building up as temperatures change.They are more expensive than many of the other options but are worth a consideration if you are going to be putting vents in the other options.The next year will tell if these boxes hold up as well as they look. For that reason, I did not put anything important in the box.The plastic will have to prove it can handle the elements before anything important goes in one.They would be great if they were in the price point of the other options, and the plastic actually hold up to the elements as they claim.
