I was looking for a simple waterproof raincoat. The big box stores seem to come out with them only once a year, selling out super quickly. So I turned to Amazon and came across this gem. It’s very basic. The material feels rubberized and offers no insulation, but that’s exactly what I was looking for! Something to keep me dry when I walk my dog outside. It has both a long zipper in the front, but also has snaps in front. A few other reviews expressed concern over the oversized hood, but I like it as no water gets in my face. I admit it’s a little difficult to see but for me, it’s not a problem. The pockets are a little challenging because there’s a cover over the pocket which protects things from getting wet. Again, not a problem for me, but reaching for a phone or keys, you have to scoop under the flap to get to the inside pocket. I like that there are snaps around the wrists so can be worn snug against your wrist or loose. Love the color (I purchased the green). I would say this is a generous fit. For reference, I am 5’3” and 170#. I ordered the extra large and in the photo I’m wearing a T-shirt, layered with a sweatshirt and then the raincoat over, with room to spare. For me, this was a huge win and just what I was looking for for spring rainy days!

Purchased this “slicker” for a vacation to Paris . Perfect fit and wasn’t wrinkled a bit after being packed tight in my suitcase. Kept the wind out too , length was perfect to cover legs and butt, kept the rain and wind out. Would highly recommend!

I really wanted to love this jacket, but I ended up returning. The pros: color is phenomenal (bought the green), material is rubberized and waterproof, style is very cute. The cons: sleeves run short, hood is not as large as I’d like for a true rain coat, fit is too snug to wear a heavier sweater or coat underneath, and the material (while waterproof for sure) feels a little flimsy. I am sure if I had sized up it could have worked, but I ended up returning and opting for a higher quality and price tag for a name brand. For a cheaper raincoat (ended up paying $40 with coupon) this could definitely do the trick.

This is a lovely rain coat. Longer than a jacket, it covers to the knees, and is lightweight and effective. I do wish it were lined a bit more. As it is, it is only for warmer late spring and summer wear. The material can be quite cool- -cold - - if the temperature is lower. If it is large enough, a heavier sweater could be worn under it.

I ordered this in both yellow and green. While I prefer to blend in with the world and therefore gravitate towards the muted green, the yellow is two inches longer and slightly roomier. The longer length is more practical so I'm going with the yellow and will just have to blend in with school buses and NYC taxis.Addendum: I needed to drop a star from 4 to 3 because of the fishy odor which would not dissipate entirely. Unfortunately, I needed to return this.

Was looking for a lightweight thigh length rain jacket with no belt. This is it! I’m typically a Small/Medium but went with the Small and it’s perfect. Very flattering on. Love the off white color. Totally waterproof.It did have a strange odor which I initially thought may be a deal breaker but I hung it up inside out for several days and it has dissipated greatly.

This was a good value for the cost. I got an XL and I like my clothes a little oversized it fits perfectly and I got several compliments the first time I wore it. Would repurchase if I ever lost it!
