Perfect For Our Patio
Version purchased: 12’x16’Update #2: I have now built the second one (first one was destroyed by a falling tree). I’m as happy with this gazebo as I was the first time. There were a few scratches and dings this time from shipping, but nothing that is noticeable.Update: I forgot to mention one of the reasons I purchased this brand was because of the positive reviews that mentioned their customer service. I have to say, I agree with the other positive reviews. I had an issue (100% my issue and not theirs), they replied very quickly, and helped me out with my issue. I would DEFINITELY purchase from the company again. This was perfect for our patio. Was? A eucalyptus tree pruned a large branch during a horrific storm here in CA and crushed the gazebo. How perfect was it? I’m purchasing the same gazebo to replace the recently crushed one. I definitely want the same one.The reason I purchased this brand over the other ones is because of the positive reviews regarding customer support. And I agree with the other reviews, this company provides solid customer support!I purchased some LED lighting and installed the string of lights and it made this amazing during warm evenings. One tip I would share (and will follow myself for the second purchase): don’t tighten all the bolts right away. I had to loosen nuts / bolts many times to get things installed properly the first time.Pros:• Very quick and helpful customer support• Very sturdy• Curtains are extremely effective to block breezes• Vented roof to make is safer for propane fires in the gazebo• Looks great• Was able to assemble without professional helpCons:• It is not immune to large heavy branches (yes, this is a joke … the branch would have gone right through the roof of our house• Installation took a while … but that was expected

Engineered for Strenth and Long term Durablility
I am writing down my thoughts as I am assembling the 12X20 Domi Gazebo. First let me say that I am a retired auto worker who comes from the trades background. So perhaps I am a little more adept doing my own assembling. My first thought is to suggest anyone who tackles this project should consider having a power drill driver or the like. You will need a 4mm and 6mm hex apex for your drill. Using the tools that were included with the kit will add hours to the assembly process and I would not recommend using these tools for assembly. The prepping of the main beams in the initial steps can easily be done by one person but it is going to take some time to add all the brackets that they supply for the beams and posts. The instructions were not as clear cut as I would have liked and it took me some time to figure it all out. So far considering the country of origin, the quality control seems to be good. All holes have lined up for starting threaded screws (but if I were at the hardware store, I would think about buying a 6mm starter tap just to have on hand in case you encounter a bad thread. There are literally dozens and dozens of these 6mm screws to attach all the brackets and bars required for this assembly.Caution re #2 screws: Different size screws are designated with different numbers beginning with #1 and they are shipped mounted on a plastic blister pack. There are many #1 screws and only 28 #2 screws and they are included with on the pack with the #1 screws. Watch carefully for this as I didn't see the designated #2 and dumped them into the bin with all the #1 screws. So now for where I need the #2 screws, I will need to go out and purchase more screws which are 6mm x 20mm to replace the ones I have inadvertently already used.My one complaint that I have is regarding the supplied screws. I wish that they had been supplied with a little more lead (taper) at the starting end which would have made them much easier for starting in the threaded holes. There are many many screws to run in.So far I have completed everything up to the point where I'm ready to lift the posts and cross beams off the ground and get it all standing up on it's 6 legs. This is where I will need at least two or three other people to help me out here. With my wife & son we were able to lift the side beams to standing position. While my wife balanced each side assembly, my son held the end beam in place while I ran the #2 screws in to connect the assembly at the corners. Two 45Degree supports were added at each corner. At this point I would suggest that the assembler square up the structure by measuring between the posts diagonally (corner to corner). The two measurements should read within a half inch of each other. This will help when you go to install all the roof support brackets and roof panels. My wife and I were able to get the main roof supports up without the help of my son here. Attach the four N1 supports to the K header before lifting. With the help of a 7 foot step ladder, I was able to hold the assembly up in the air while my wife connected the lower ends to the side beams. Once the four N1 roof supports are secured in place, you can easily add the rest of the supports (N, N2 & M) one at a time. I would install the four M corner supports last as they are the longest and heaviest. This is where squaring your structure will pay off for making the anchor holes to line up more consistantly.I have completed the project now. The only major time consuming problem that we encountered was making the plastic tabs stay in place during installation. These were the Z series parts. After they fell off so many times I finally used silicone adhesive to glue them in place. (a very poor design) (An alternative might have been to use simple masking tape to hold the clips in place for installation. Once the roof panel was in, the tape would not be visible) After that the rest of the roof assembly went quickly.I spent about a week working on the assembly but I certainly did not spend 8 hour days at this. (Remember, I'm a retiree) I thought that the quality control on hole placements was excellent. Most all holes lined up or were close enough. Most other reviews mentioned not to tighten roof supports or frame until you have completed the entire roof assembly. I think that that is very good advice as sometimes a little extra movement was needed to line up the holes. The build quality of this gazebo impresses me as does the finish on all the parts. Well engineered for strength and long term durability. Great investment for the house.

Absolutely stunning
It took several weeks to decide on a gazebo. Many reviews among them all were dented/damaged parts, poor customer service on replacement parts, difficulty with delivery and awful instructions etc.None of this really occurred here. 1 box arrived within a couple of days, the other 4 arrived 2 days later (4 days total shipping time). Best recommendation is to layout all boxes and organize parts.. there is a lot of them. The instructions were absolutely fantastic. Everything was clear with exception to the plastic tabs that go on the top of the roof panel edges. It took me a few minutes to figure out what direction they go (clip on the front or back). Besides that, I put up the gazebo myself with exception to connecting the legs to the side supports. Once that was done and it was free standing, I finished it myself. Took about 5 hours for the main part and roof frame. Took about 8 more hours for the roof panels by myself. A ton of climbing up and down the ladder, estimated 120 times.I had 3 items that needed replacement. 2 were scratched and 1 was dented/bent that didn't stop my from building. One channel for the current was bent causing the curtains to get hung up when drawing them back and forth.Contacting the manufacturer through Amazon was a breeze and replacement parts were shipped out next day only taking 3 days to get to me.This gazebo is stunning!!! Do not hesitate to purchase this. You will absolutely love it.

Nice gazebo. Fair quality, have friends to help assemble.
Product arrives in 5 packages that need separate tracking I for so that when one is delivered they are not all marked as delivered. Definitely need a couple of hands to assemble and there are some key stress points that can easily be stripped when screwing it together which takes some not included expertise to resolve. All in all worth the buy.

Quality product, thoughtful design ,easy to assemble
The media could not be loaded. A 21ft x 12 foot unit, we ordered one of the larger gazebos that Domi offers, The gazebo arrived in 5 very large and heavy boxes that we offloaded on my driveway.Given that I had decided to fully assemble it by myself from unpacking to finish, and that there was no way for me to carry any of the boxes up a 30ft embankment to my backyard, I decided to unpack the boxes where they had been dropped on my driveway and carry all the parts to the backyard, one by one. This of course to at least 3 hours. The assembly is made easy with a graphic installation manual so you don't have to read fine print text for instructions and then trying to make sense of it.The graphical instructions take you step by step on assembly of each and every part which are clearly labeled. There are a few spare hardware such as nuts and bolts that come with the package. For tools all you need is a 4mm Alen wrench which also comes with it, however I strongly recommend a small impact driver, instead of manually using an Allen wrench to fasten over 500 nuts and bolts. It could be quite tiring. Just make sure you set your impact gun at its lowest setting because the bolts are not made with hardened steel, so then can strip easily when a high torque setting is used or you use a powerful impact gun.Doing the entire assembly by one person is possible (because I did it) but I strongly recommend a help hand, if you have not done large assemblies before. The Gazebo itself is well manufactured. They have clearly used computer aided design (CAD) to create it because all parts are clearly well made with precision and every part fits very easily. I just recommend that you do not tighten bolts before you have each part of the assembly done. This helps reduce fiddling about with parts, trying to fit them together because leaving the assembly slightly loose, will provide sufficient play in parts for easy line up and alignment. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Beautiful gazebo
The instructions were easy enough to follow. Top section of the roof was not explained properly but the guys figured it out. The plastic clips for the roof sections were a pain and fell out of place a lot. Overall happy with this purchase. We live in Moncton NB. The real test will be the winters we can get. Update 2 weeks after being installed the zipper came off of one of the curtains. I’m guessing the same will happen to the rest and probably the screens. I’ve contacted the seller. Hopefully they will replace them all.

2 person job
Easy to assemble, but I would suggest 2 people. Instructions suggested not to tighten up the screws, which allows you to place other parts with more ease.
