I received a new camera during the warranty period and the connection to my Solar Panel was different. I was able to use this adapter and it worked perfectly. I’m back up and operational again.

It plugs into both the solar panel and camera, but the RING system / camera doesn't recognize it. It seemed like it might actually slowly charge the camera.

Just as described

The adapter does not work. I installed two charged batteries, but I do not see the solar panel charging icon on the app. I know the solar panel works as it is also somewhat new. Do not buy this product.

This product was designed for ring cameras and believe me it did not work. It caused the camera to lock into always plugged in and had to send camera back to get a new one from ring. As they had a warranty on it, so this product is not good. Thanks for stopping by and checking out this review

Tried this on multiple Ring spotlight cameras with solar panels. Those set up and previously working stopped displaying solar panel connected when I used this cable. (Note that it takes a while for the Ring app to determine whether a solar connection is made so it isn’t instantaneous - neither is the solar charging battery icon).Did not work
