Pretty easy to set up. Only issue is limited WiFi connection. My router is on the first floor where everything connected beautifully in various rooms, but I was unable to use on second the floor. Product info does state to place as close to router as possible, but since I have a WiFi connection on other devices on the second floor, plugs should be able to connect as well. Other than being limited to router floor use, the plugs work well with no issues using with either the app or Alexa.

This is such a great idea and the WiFi Smart Plug Mini YTE does the trick. Arrived early. I have set up one in the kitchen with my overhead lights to go on at 7 PM nightly and off at 6:30 AM each morning works great. I wanted to set one up with my stereo, however when the WiFi Smart Plug Mini YTE turns on the stereo the radio will not turn on, just the stereo, this is in no way a reflection on the Smart Plug just the way the stereo works. Will update as needed when I set up the other WiFi Smart Plug Mini YTE a great product for your home.

Great smart plug! The price is only half of its competitors. And it works just as well as other brands. Setup is similar to others.A few suggestions:1) "Smart Life" is a very common word in app store. Searching "smart life" may not give you the correct app. It is marked as "smart Life - Smart Living" in app store.2) Long hold and it will wipe out all settings. This is not a good design. Very frustrated to see mis-operation and all settings are gone.Reconsider the design.Overall, a 5-star smart plug.

The WiFi Plug Mini, Wireless Smart Outlet required installation of the Smart Home App to work with Amazon Alexa. I did this in March of this year and was very pleased with the product performance until this week (Oct 10) . The Outlets quit working. When I went into the Smart Home App to it had completely changed the procedures required to set up routines. There were no new instructions and I have not been able to get the smart outlets to work as they should using the new version of Smart home.Problem was corrected with some instructions emailed to me after I submitted this review.

When these outlets work, they are great. I have six of them throughout the house and like the fact that I have them all on different schedules, so it looks like I'm home even when I'm away. I also like that they are small. They are easier to program than the instructions lead you to believe. When you first plug them in, they are already in the programming mode... Just start adding the device in the app. Super easy.Now that I've had them for a couple months, they keep going offline. If the internet / wifi drops for some reason, they have a hard time reconnecting and go offline. Sometimes they go offline for no apparent reason.They will still keep the schedule you've programmed, but you cannot do voice commands thru Alexa or control them with the app. You can manually reinstall or you can wait and it might come online eventually.It's getting frustrating. Not sure if I'll return. I really like them, but this happens quite often.

I love these, everything in my house has one now from lamps to heaters and curling-irons! I never have to fear with these, they make me feel safe knowing if I forgot anything on in the house I can check an app from anywhere and turn it off. I am amazed you can get such an amazing product at such a low price. The app only took me 4 minutes to set-up and alexa took another 3, it works with my other smart outlets from another brand! These things are amazing!

We use this to shut off the tvs at night. We were having trouble with our 7 year old getting up in the middle of the night and watching tv. An added bonus is that we also save electricity/money because the cable boxes are the type that always stay on. Not anymore!

I had to disconnect and reconnect these in order for them to work again. When I first got them they worked perfectly. Then at 1am I noticed my livingroom light was on and it started forgetting its routine I set up. Once I deleted the routine and started again, it worked fine.
