Almost perfect, but has one HUGE flaw
I bought this with the goal of minimizing the number of connections I have to make to my laptop when I want to use it in a "docked" mode. With a single USB-C connection to my laptop, I can charge my laptop from it while simultaneously getting 1 more USB-C (essentially reclaiming the one being used), and 3 more USB-A ports (two 5Gbps and one 10Gbps), both a standard SD port and a micro-SD port, and gigabit ethernet. There is also an HDMI port supporting 4K60, and it works well, but you have to have a laptop that supports video out of its USB-C to make use of it. There is no built-in display driver. One other very nice feature is that you can connect this hub to an older laptop that does not have a USB-C port by using a USB-C to USB-A adapter. With my other older laptop that only has USB-A, I can connect to this 9-in-1 using a Hidock adapter, also found on Amazon. Of course, you do not get charging through USB with this type of connection, nor can you get video out of the HDMI port, but all other features are available. If you don't have a laptop that supports video out of its USB-C port, but you want to be able to connect to a monitor through this hub, it is still possible by daisy-chaining a second device such as a Plugable DisplayLink adapter connected to one of the USB ports on the Ugreen 9-in-1. In fact, this is how I am able to connect to a monitor regardless of whether I have my new laptop plugged in or my old laptop, but it may be more cost-effective to find a single device that supports all the features of the Ugreen hub plus DisplayLink. *** The biggest problem with this hub, and it can literally be a show-stopper, is that it can wreak havoc on your LAN if you undock your laptop while it is powered on, leaving the Ugreen hub powered on (using an AC adapter) and connected to your network. In such a situation, the ethernet controller inside the Ugreen appears to get confused and will shutdown ALL TRAFFIC on your subnet, even through unmanaged switches. It took me hours to track this down to the Ugreen's ethernet port when it first happened. Fortunately, by either removing power from the Ugreen or by disconnecting its ethernet cable, connectivity will be restored to your LAN. Or you can probably avoid it altogether by using a separate USB-to-Ethernet adapter instead of the Ugreen ethernet port. Despite the flaw on the ethernet connectivity as described above, I still recommend this device because it really does offer a lot of functionality. If it were not for the ethernet, I would give this item a 5-star rating.

Patience is the key here.
First, if you are reading this you know what you want this hub to be used for. For me it is for the UNO Q SBC purchased here at Amazon also. Two things you need to know before you try using this hub. First, when everything is connected together it takes a few minutes to startup and configure itself. When I first plugged it into the power adapter, it did not seem to be providing power to the USB ports. Patience my son, patience. It eventually gets itself setup and configured and power applied where needed. Secondly, the UNO Q will probably be in "sleep" mode. It takes about 45 seconds for it to come out of sleep mode and get something on the screen. Again, patience. In my setup I have two WIFI dongles for wireless keyboard and mouse, a 1 Terabyte SSD card on a USB port and the HDMI cable goes to my Dell S3221QS. I use the DDC utility to control switching the computer monitor between the PC and the UNO Q. The total current draw is about 850mA from the 5VDC power supply. See picture. This hub really gets the job done. Requires no software or setup. It just works!!

Does not fully support 4K@60hz
I have a widescreen monitor with 3440 x 1440 resolution and a 2024 purchased Lenovo Yoga 7i. This Ugreen dock was unable to support that display without squashing everything vertically. Anker's 11-1 dock was able to the job: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NDGD2V5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Shame because the Ugreen was cheaper, had a very solid build and faster 10 Gbps ports. I have used other Ugreen devices with good success.

Look no further for inexpensive hub
after looking for what feels like ages for a decent hub. This one offers everything I need and seems to be quite well built. Use it almost daily and have zero problems

Works great with USB-C PD, and displays Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck on TV over HDMI without issue
I bought this originally specifically because it claimed to work with both the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch for both charging and HDMI display. It definitely does, so I am now able to use the Nintendo Switch on either the TV dock or on another TV using this device and plugging into the USB-C port. I also bought an Anker GaN charger to power this, and it can charge both the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch while they're running, and charges the Steam Deck OLED at max (white LED). Pros: * Allows Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck to both charge and display to TV connected via HDMI * Solid construction, and lots of ports * USB-C power pass-through works pretty well Cons: * Not many, but a longer built-in USB-C cable, and maybe some rubber feet so it doesn't slide around would be nice

Good product but a bit expensive... If you use all the usb ports and hdminat the same time, it'll get super hot...

The USB ports did not work properly on the product, however, after carrying out some requested tests, I was informed that the unit was faulty and it was not necessary to return the product. Then, I was promptly sent a full refund.

I like this hub a lot. I use it to power my laptop at home, which makes that I get the power I need, get ethernet connection to my switched & cabled network without having to fuss around with a separate adapter, and a bit more when i need (USB, SD-cards, HDMI). It is essentially a docking station.
