Had them for over a year and soon to buy another set. For the price I didn’t have high expectations, but it turns out these cut and hold up incredibly well. Great stuff. Don’t forget to order a bottle of tap magic ;)

These are an excellent value. I used one bit to drill 16 holes in 5/8" steel and 60 holes in 3/16" steel. Almost no wear and still sharp! I just bought a set of 1/4" bits from Stroton for another project. VERY pleased! Secret is to not run the bits at a slower speed on a drill press and use light application of a cutting oil (I use a syringe to apply just at the hole location and stop midway to apply a drop in the hole). If you get spirals of metal from the bit the speed is good - if you get dust the speed is too high.

These are very good drill bits. They do not wander much and are quite durable. There is a problem with the index, the rivets used to attach then to the box arrived failed. To make it useable I had to drill out the defective rivets and attach the index withdouble nuts and screws.

Works on the toughest metals. Start small and get the hole started. Use slow speed and stop if it binds. Use oil to keep the bit cool.

Tough bits. I’m hard on bits and these are standing up to an impatient user

I was able to drill into stainless as I expected. Not sure if I can still use the bits for another drilling but I am glad that the set was a good price.

You get what you pay for. Hopefully the bits don't break like the case did. First day, too. Bummer. I'll rewrite this in 6 months after using a bunch.

Dollars to drill bits these are amazing. Compared to my Viking grill bits I see no difference in performance. These are now my everyday drill bits use in the shop.
