Just the right size for EDC and a couple day get away.
This pack is a good size for pretty much anything EDC/range/day trip/hunting. I can put all my gear for work in the main compartment and all my lickies and chewies and other randomness in the top pocket. I took it to the range and was able to fit most everything needed for the day. I had to carry my rifle because I don’t have the add on scabbard. I can fit everything I need for the day to go hunting. (Saddle, one stick/platform, ghillie jacket, kill kit, food/water etc) very solid and comfortable pack.I will continue to update as I use for different things.

UPDATE: Perfect 72-hr Bag!!!
This is a great option for a 72-hr bag. I have two of these packs: one remains indentured with my Skycrane "backpacking" equipment, the other was bought separately so I don't have to constantly move gear back and forth for "go bag" purposes. I use Eberlestock 2-liter water bladders for these bags; they fit perfectly inside the interior sleeves, and haven't failed me, yet. I do recommend that you add Eberlestock's waist belt if you're hauling much more than a day's worth of gear/supplies- I also use their "Endo" frame accessory, as my pack can run a bit heavy once I've filled up with water...The pack has Molle webbing everywhere, inside and out, and has thoughtful pouches/pockets in all the right places. Your hydration tube(s) have three resealable ports at the top of the bag for your placement preferences. The drop-leaf opening to the main compartment makes packing and locating your equipment a breeze, and also provides Molle webbing on both sides- adding serious customization options. Eberlestock thoughtfully provides integrated Velcro strap keepers to clean up stray/excess material, too- no need to buy those separately. The shoulder harness and ventilated padding are superior to any other system I've used: all-day rucking comfort, even with a full load-out. Best of all: this pack stays put, once slung; bouldering, etc. won't cause any hot spots with this well-engineered harness system. The Little Brother is perfectly sized for three day excursions, provided you've done your load-out homework and aren't packing for a nuclear winter. It's narrow design gives you plenty of back/shoulder space to mount additional pouches/gear to the pack's exterior- while still leaving room to carry a slung rifle. Of course, you also have the option to use the rifle scabbard sleeve, as well.I'm a big fan of Eberlestock's products. They do cost more, but these packs are built to last... my knees will need replacing before I need to replace this pack. This seller was great on all counts, as well- and was quicker to ship than buying direct from Eberlestock. Be safe and keep your powder dry, my friends.6/3/2016 Update: I highly recommend adding the small Eberlestock Gossamer Frame accessory for this pack, for a much more comfortable fit and vastly improved weight distribution if you're hauling heavier load-outs- I added a review for the Gossamer frame that includes the details... With this accessory, I'm enjoying the best fitting, easiest wearing pack I've ever used.

All day long.
I have a couple of Eberlestock packs. I have the big Skycrane, which is awesome and is worth getting because it is actually 3 packs in 1, I have the Fac Track Pack, which is pretty good, and I have this one. This is the one that comes as part of the Skycrane. The Little Brother is better for a 3 day pack than any other Eberlestock or other brand I have tried. I ordered a belt for it from them, and meant to send the Fac Track Pack back, but waited too long so now I don't lack the Fac Track Pack because I can't send it back. I love the Little Brother as a 3 day. Get the belt. In that config it is better than the Fac Track and Halftrack Packs. The fit is great on all of these packs, meaning adjustable and padded. For tall people you need this to carry heavy loads long ways. Cheap out and you will suffer... I strongly recommend the Little Brother with waist belt as the best 3 day pack option going.

Great pack if you're looking for a good 3 day ...
Great pack if you're looking for a good 3 day bag with the option to carry a rifle. The top pouch can carry as much as a filbe sustainment pouch. The ability to top load or panel load is awesome. The molle web on the inside of the panel holds a filbe sustainment or hydration pouch perfectly. Bottom outside pouches carry a nalgene well. Doesn't come with a frame of any sort but takes the frame sheet from a filbe day pack in the zippered rifle panel, although its a tight fit but adds just the right amount of support to the pack. The shoulder straps and yoke feel amazing along with adequate padding and the load lifters work quite well. The padding on the back is comfortable and breathable. The front of the pack has a pocket that fits a notebook/map or reading material quite well. Also has Velcro for a unit patch. Only issues I have with the bag is no adjustability on the yoke (there is no ladder system like other eberlestock packs have) along with no hip belt. For my needs the adjustable yoke is a must for wear with flak, while the hip belt is more of a leisure item because I wouldn't be using this bag for serious load bearing anyway because its less than 3000 cubic inches. Really great bag that should last many years of hard abuse.

It’s UNBELIVEABLY AWESOME.
Absolutely outstanding. If there were 10 stars, I’d give it. Personally, I use my Eberlestock bag for Harley trips. I have used this bag for two trips this year, by mounting it to the sissy bar with the straps it’s made with, and additional bungee cords for reassurance that it won’t fall off (see pics). I packed, basically 8 days worth of clothes changes for a 12 day trip (wasn’t sure when or if I would find a washer/dryer) and it was more than enough room. I LOVE the top loading and front panel loading feature. MUCH better than packing everything in a duffle bag! Everything is always so accessible. There are plenty of additional molle webbings all over this thing to lash on sunglasses, chargers, cell phones, whatever! The top sack provides awesome quick access to small, commonly used items. The bag is buuuuiiilt like a brick house too. Zippers are massive and make for very easy - quick access to everything. No worries about snagging or the zipper coming off rail. It’s really built to be bullet proof!
