Bonide Captain Jack's Neem Oil, 16 oz Ready-to-Use Spray, Multi-Purpose Fungicide, Insecticide and Miticide for Organic Gardening

I have a dwarf banana plant which we affectionately call Benny. Unfortunately, Benny developed some type of tiny, white, crawling bug, almost invisible to the naked eye. I wanted to use something safe that wouldn’t be too toxic and this neem oil did just the job. It has two different functioning sprays, a stream or a spray, which I preferred the spray for more even distribution. After a few days, I no longer saw the creepy crawlies on my plant so I was very happy. The spray nozzle was easy to use, and it seemed to be a good quality. I appreciate the fact that it’s supposed to be safe around pets, and thankfully my kitties do not have a tendency to chew on my plants. The scent can be a little strong, so I made sure my windows were open when I was using it.

I struggled with gnats on my house plants and all online resources pointed me to neem oil. This spray works SO well. I spray it on my plants once a week and it has done a great job of removing and repelling gnats. The one downside of the product is that is smells like rotten eggs and sulfur. It may have more to do with neem oil than this specific product but it is not for the faint of heart. It only stinks right after you spray it so I try to spray it before I run errands and it makes it bearable. I would say the efficacy of this product definitely makes the smell worth it!

I love that this is a natural option. My fiddle leaf fig had spider mites. I completely sprayed the entire plant including the trunk and all of the leaves. This eradicated them after One treatment.

I’ve done 4 treatments on my plants since buying this and I don’t think it’s working . Still seeing fungus gnats flying around . I also feel like the bottle goes fast for me . I normally use the regular captain jacks and I preferred that . I will not be repurchasing. I do notice the smell is strong but once it dries it goes away.

I got it because I've read it's good for clothes moths invasions, but it smells soooo bad I can't put it anywhere.

I dislike the smell of this stuff, but I do love the convenience of pre-mixed formula--a quick and easy way to prepare my outside plants to come indoors, as well as keeping "bugs" under control all season.Beware using this around furniture or indoors; it is OIL after all & will leave a residue if you're not careful on surfaces near the plant.
