These are better than the other expanders because they mount solidly in the wallboard. You can unscrew the mounting screw and replace it again without losing the bolt in the wall.

I bought these to anchor into drywall. Every plastic drywall anchor I tried to mount into the ceiling just spun once the pressure was applied. These have little notches that anchor in, and the anchoring mechanism threading against itself. Due to the structure of the anchor, they can't be placed directly next to one another, but I'd honestly say that one of these out-performs multiple of those plastic drywall anchors that comes with most storebought items.

I needed a heavy duty anchor for a closet rod that needs to take a good bit of weight. Works perfectly.

I was unable to find these at local hardware stores. These are far better than the plastic type that tend to spin when you try to secure them and pull out of the wall easily. This is a very nice set with a variety of sizes.

If you have a hole under 1/2 inch from previous anchors or previous screw ups. This little tool saves time and the anchors are tight. This now my go to for inhouse repairs on pulled anchor or the cheap self-drilling mega plastics anchors that always pull. This is strong.

These drywall screws are so "heavy duty" that they bore a hole in the wall when you tighten the screw down.These are definitely way too heavy duty for the standard drywall in the average home. These would work really well on concrete board, but they do not work well on drywall. Don't buy them unless you're looking to anchor a semi truck to some concrete.It was a nice case they came in, but after ruining my wall, they have been sent to the landfill.

These work very well, even on exterior walls. They also cause less damage to the wall than a toggle bolt. I purchased the kit because it included the tool and a good assortment of wall anchors that I can keep on hand for future jobs. The tool is the key to installing these anchors. I’ve tried to install similar anchors without the tool and they just become a twisted mess.
