The only problem with this item is it doesn't last very long, the birds love it.

Excellent seeds at good price

I bought this and I already had one bird seed block outside, so I kept it wrapped up and put it on the bottom shelf in my pantry. When I came back later, I noticed a hole in the bottom of it and I put it in a ziploc bag and put it on the end of my couch to bring it outside, but I forgot.The next day I got up, and I had birdseed on my couch and I couldn't understand what the problem was, until a little mouse ran out, and is currently running around my house having a blast.I've never had a problem with mice before or any animal in my house. I had some people tell me sometimes when a bird seed block is mailed to somebody online like this, that sometimes mice do dig a little tunnel under inside of it and are shipped with the block.I'm hoping that there was not extra shipping and handling for the additional mouse...I won't be buying this brand again because it also fell apart outside very easily and quickly. It basically disintegrated when I put it out.I'm trying to find humane ways to catch this stowaway mouse that I temporarily named Mr. Wiggles. I understand the dangers of mice but with this COVID quarantine going on where I live, I rarely get to see a human, so Mr. Wiggles is actually kind of being a little friend to me in a light humored way.I'm basically just writing this as a warning for other people because I was shocked when the mouse actually ran out and looked at me.You might want to add in your product description "possible live mouse enclosed at no extra charge. "

The birds loved it!

First you must have a holder for these. I received mine as a gift and as there is no store nearby that sells these cylinders it is great that I can buy them on Amazon.The good. My birds LOVE these! In addition to my regular feeder birds such as Cardinals, Chickadees, Titmice and Finches, with these cylinders I now see Wrens, assorted Warblers, Thrashers, and various other birds that don't normally visit any other feeder. Also, if you keep the squirrels and rain off, these cylinders last a LONG time. Often three to four weeks. That makes them even cheaper per day than loose seed. When the weather is bad I'm not trudging out to fill the feeder everyday.The bad. These were shipped in a bag not a box and some seed was broken off of the cylinder. They should be packed for shipping better. If they had been shipped in a box I'd have given them a full 5 stars.

We are going to find a means of additional income to keep our feeders full. They go through them so fast, but what a joy to see and hear the birdsong.

It’s great food for the birds, but in shipping it gets busted up and you lose a lot of the seed. I know it’s more expensive , but I’m going to get local and that way I know I can get without the busted part
