This fabric cone is such an improvement on the traditional plastic cones. The fabric makes it comfortable for my dog, I don’t have to worry about him being uncomfortable or not being able to sleep with the cone on. The Velcro makes it easy to put on/take off and is very secure. The plastic around the outer edge is a nice touch as it adds extra visibility for the dog.I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a cone for their dog. Your dog will thank you!

My dog had 2 lump removal procedures yesterday, 1 under her chin & 1 on her leg. The collars you get from the vets were not suitable & uncomfortable especially as they rub the neck area. This padded buster collar is perfect & the size guide was helpful & true to size. It’s padded nicely, not overly thick & not too thin either, it even has additional padding around the adjustable cord area. I would highly recommend this buster collar.

I got this for my Cavalier, while he recovers from eye surgery. It is cooler than the all plastic one , easy to put on, soft around the neck , and long enough to stop his catching his eyes .the Velcro is strong enough for him not to get the collar off. There is a seam where the plastic meets the fabric part of the collar , he tends to rub his chin on this , the only negative I found . I don’t know if a bigger dog would be able to pull the Velcro apart

I don't normally review products, but felt compelled to do so this time. My dog was given the standard hard plastic collar by our vet, which she found quite uncomfortable. Found this one and it's made such a difference to her - it's been a lifesaver. The collar is soft and flexible and very easy to put on and remove, using the velcro fastening. The padded area is great and makes sleeping comfortable. The only downside I've found is the padded section reduces her view slightly, but it's not a massive problem. I purchased the medium size and my dog is a 10.6kg mini schnauzer.

This product is brilliant, wish I had got one years ago. So soft and much kinder than the horrible plastic ones the vet gives you.I’ve used mine a couple of times now and store it away, worth investing in one of these, good value too

It is okay, comfortable and well made.I have a Rottweiler who had a infected paw, but this didn’t seem long enough so he still managed to lick it, and it is very flexible so he learnt very quickly if he rested his head on one of the stairs it would collapse and he could lick his paw.How ever , it stayed on his head and he couldn’t take it off, we managed to solve the issue by fastening the cone it such a way that it was longer on one side that the other.Not ideal but worked okay.Would we buy this again, probably not, but this would be great for smaller breeds.

Comfy for Peggy, but she still hated it. However very easy to use.I can write loads but it worked for us

This collar uses a cord to tie round the dogs neck. It looked uncomfortable so returned. Also felt too similar to the plastic Vet ones

Preso per il pastore tedesco di mia sorella. Ha subito un intervento alla zampa e quindi necessitava di un collare elisabettiano. Questo risulta molto comodo, è lavabile, non se l'è mai tolto e ci dormiva anche comodo.

Unser Goldendoodle wurde am Kreuzband operiert, mit der Plastikhalskrause vom Tierarzt ist er zwar perfekt geschützt, allerdings ist das Ding wirklich unbequem und die Nächte waren besonders unruhig, wenn der Hund beim Versuch, eine bequeme Liegeposition zu finden, mit dem „Helm“ überall hängen blieb. Der neue Leckschutz ist größenmäßig fast identisch (XL), aber superbequem und trotzdem stabil. Ich hatte vor ein paar Jahren mal einen aufblasbaren Kragen bestellt, den unser Hund aber sehr leicht überwinden konnte. Daher war ich skeptisch, aber diese gemütlich gepolsterte Halskrause überzeugt zu 100%.

Je souhaitais un cône suffisamment long afin de tenter d'empêcher mon chien d'atteindre ses parties génitales et les extrémités de ses pattes. Il est certes plus long que la majorité de ceux que l'on peut trouver mais il est toujours possible au chien d'atteindre des parties de son corps surtout une fois qu'il a trouvé l'astuce pour le faire descendre au plus bas de son cou. Super simple et rapide à placer autour du cou du chien, un produit de bonne qualité avec un Velcro puissant (dont le bruit fait peur à mon chien lors du retrait). Les matériaux utilisés pour la confection de ce cône sont de bonne qualité et semblent être très resistants. Bien évidemment j'aurais préféré ne pas avoir à utiliser un tel produit sur mon chien !
