TRIAX Trans Zero 20W-50 Full Synthetic Hydro-Static Transmission Oil for Zero-Turn Mowers (1 Gallon)

This hydro trans fluid is the best! It quieted my Toro Timecutter with the cheap ass Hydrogear EZT 2000 hydros. Toro advertises them as "non serviceable" but they are and there's YouTube videos showing how and it's easy to do. DO NOT LISTEN TO TORO or you'll be replacing them. I ruined my left hand hydro and replaced it with a used one. Put this fluid in it and it's super quiet so I did the right side hydro that's still original. It's also quieter than it's ever been! I'll use this TRIAX from now on and plan to do it annually because I have a large lawn and live in South Texas where we mow practically year round. My other advice? Don't buy any zero turn that states they have "non serviceable" hydros. But if you do, service them and use TRIAX for the win!!! This stuff costs less than Toro Fluid and works 1000 times better!!

I used this TRIAX 20W-50 in the hydrostatic transmission of my Cub Cadet LTX1045, and it works flawlessly. The mower runs smoother, quieter, and cooler compared to conventional oil. This is the recomended lube for all Toro/Timekeeper/Scag HD hydrostatic drive zero turn lawn mowers (and probably other brands). It will take 1.5 of these jugs to complete the 400 hour fluid replacement.

Use this in my wife’s zero turn cub cadet Ultima hydrostatic was time to change the hydraulic hydrostatic oil. This worked real good. The new oil is full synthetic and makes the hydrostatic drive a lot quieter. She notices the difference. Mom is happy. I’m happy so far we haven’t had any problems. Check the oil. The oil seems fine. The value for the money was decent. Took a little time to drain out the old stuff to get the new fluid in.

Second transmission service to my Husqvarna MZ5225 mower with Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 transmissions. I must say I have now mowed the grass several times since the switching to this oil. Everything runs like before except for one thing. I have noticed a huge decrease in the transmission noise. Gone is much of the whining noise. To be honest I don't know if I did a better job of purging the air from the transmissions this time or if it's the oil. Maybe both? This oil is made for mower transmissions like mine so I figure it has some sort of better additive package than just using a high quality fully synthetic motor oil like I did the last time. Anyway I am convinced using this oil made specifically for this purpose is better. My only problem with this product is it only comes in a 4 quart jug. My transmissions needed between 4 to 5 quarts so I had top the transmissions off with a partial quart of Lucas hydrostatic transmission oil. I really wish this came in a 5 quart jug or their single quarts which they sell weren't so expensive!!! So to finish this review up I'll just say I would definitely use this product again. Much quieter transmissions even quieter than the factory fill, not just the last one I did.
