The media could not be loaded. Let me start with the review. The case is built well. Initated the lock without closing the lid and pushed against the pin. Surprisingly, it was solid and difficult to push against. The casing where all of the components were well kept and sturdy design. For initial use, I too found the emergency function to be redundant because why would I want to know how to get inside when the purpose was to control my usage. After 5 unlock attempts, the logic components lock out the user entirely, which is perfect for those parents who have kids. Or for people with ADHD, like me. Just use the emergency 4 times if you wish to grant the user one unlock attempt. Or 5 times to eliminate it all together. For those who wish to re enable this function will have to work for it. Now, the steps about to describe are taken at your responsibility. Attempts could damage the product. I simply pryed the back plate with the 5 tabs in the back. Use guitar picks if you have them. Once open, if you have a soldering iron, desolder a battery lead and reapply. This will reset the logic components and trick the device into thinking no override attempts were made. Close it up and you are done.My only...only issue with this product is what happens when a customer wishes to return the device. Amazon resale goes to the next customer and finds out they cannot use this override function.Overall, this is a neat and practical device for those who have disabilities like myself. Let’s face - we could all use a bit less time on our phones. Me? I am a full blown addict. Getting work done was always a pain with it nearby. No blockers or time limits did the trick until I found this. It’s no BS, no work arounds and very easy to work. I suppose if you were DESPERATE/ in an emergency you could likely pull it apart if need it without damaging the unit but it would require some force. The battery life is as expected and is very easy to charge. The overall machine is easy to work and helps bring my screen time down. The hard way. (As I write this review from my phone). If you’re an addict, this is for you.

It’ll definitely lock your phone away and you can still pick calls up if you need. It’s the right size for my iPhone 10. It’s solid, easy to use. It functions as intended, but I find I almost never use it now lol so I'm not sure it was worth buying for me.

The media could not be loaded. Be aware! It only works connected to power!Since the on boxing I charged the device to full battery capacity and removed the charger and I saw screen went black, connected the charger again and the device turn led on! If I want to use it know it needs to be plug to charger in order fro the screen to work.

I like how there is no emergency release, and how there is a hole to answer calls and charge my phone while inside. I chose the translucent version so I could see who’s calling before answering the phone - I get a lot of spam calls and they’re NOT emergencies. Fits my iPhone 14 Pro well in a case. Not super sturdy, so did t expect it to serve as protection. It is a tool to keep you off your phone, not anything else. Great for managing my ADHD!

I think it's a great concept, but I wish they had black and teal instead only only white with color options. Most importantly, though, I have no way to tell who is calling me. I don't want to answer all the calls that come in but I can't differentiate what should and shouldn't be answered. I don't love that. It would be perfect with that correction, I could even deal with the white. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to exchange it for the clear and basic boring white one.

You are phone free until that timer is doneBattery life is excellent, though I've been keeping it near full so it doesn't die while my phone is locked in thereNow this thing is plastic, so if the worse happened and it failed I'm sure you could pry off the front plate and get your phone. But you'd almost certainly break this device doing so. Which for me is enough incentive to keep it locked upFor me, this is a life changer! It was just part of my life down the drain for no reason- just a compulsionSo I decided to get this device. It is very affordable, the fact that it looks totally boring is a plus for me. I tested it out and found it super simple to use. I started with short blocks of time- like, I'll read this book for an hour. And the started setting it before bed at night so my phone would be locked until 11am the next day. Now I have my mornings back! No more waking up and getting sucked into a scroll hole!It's lightweight and small enough to fit in a purse. Great battery life. Let's you charge the phone and answer calls while it's locked. Honestly, if I could give this 6 stars, I would in a heartbeatIf you're on the fence about getting this, DO IT! It is truly life changing
