SumaChick Peas 400 g (Pack of 12)

I recieved these today, quite a few of the tins had dents but not big enough to cause a problem. The quality of the product is fantastic, alot better in terms of look and taste than the chick peas I used to buy at the supermarket. I assume this may be due to them being in filtered water. Also at this price they are cheaper (per tin) than most of the supermarket own brand versions. Very pleased.UPDATE: I ordered these chickpeas again (September 2012) and a couple of the tins yet again had little dents in them, same as the first time around. These also have a good use by date on them (October 2013) so roughly 13 months shelf life which is plently of time for me. Happy with my purchase.

larger chick peas and nice flavour

prefer other brands but these are definitely Okay

Bulk buying from Amazon saves me pounds, which I like. I also like Chick Peas and mainly use these to make Chick Pea Chilli which is hot enough to blow my socks off, which is just the way I like it. All 12 tins arrived adequately packed and none were dented or damaged. This particular brand taste lovely, much nicer than any I have bought at a supermarket, just like the other reviewer has said.They also came with a 2 year shelf life on them, so no hurry to use them up. I am very pleased with my order.

taste great, nice texture, and makes great bean burgers and curries

I love that there is no additional ingredients in these chickpeas and will continue buying them. Tastes great especially for cooking and making hummus.

Great tasting chick peas, very soft and well cooked, no hard fragments. Straight out of the tin onto toast, they are delicious or warmed for a couple of minutes simmer. The price is a great attraction, where else could you get such a nutritious meal for around 0.60p per can. Highly recommended
