Cost - Functionality ratio - excellent
It is not about whether it LOOKS GOOD but its FUNCTIONALITY - In this case you do get both, but I am rating its functionality which is more important. My husband and I are in our late 60s - minor back issues. Our 12+ year old large collie has back-end leg issues with a combo of obsessive compulsive behaviors to compensate for his fear of making it up one wide step on to our deck. He now balks at going up steps, any steps. Because he has some severe moments of cognitive decline, we bought this and the -Coodeo Dog Lift Harness Support and Recovery Sling in size XXL which is more expensive, and lacks the stabilization and safety design of lifting a 90 lb. mildly stubborn, old, large dog. Of the two purchases, we prefer the Adj. Dog Lift, this product. High quality with respect to its durability and design with a nice fluffy interior and adjustable straps that allows us to lift together (1-2-3 outloud) as Dom is unable to jump up one wide stair on to the deck to enter the house. The size L works wonderfully - I will say the representative picture is ok, but you want to shorten the straps, I would imagine, for heavier and/or,large dogs like Dom who becomes dead weight in the moment of flight up the stair. After several days of use, I just want to say I do prefer this sling. One of us takes the front. the other theback, where the sling supports the back end. It is very easy for me to lift and is saving us all from getting hurt!

Comfortable life saver!
This product is great! It has helped my dog have more confidence to walk and saved my back! This one is comfortable for my dog and does not irritate her stomach and is not too narrow. The wideness provides the support she needs and doesn't put unnecessary pressure on her like more narrow supports do. 5 stars from me and the pup!

Best product to walk senior dogs with weak legs and for them to stand without sliding while eating
Got this for my 15 year old Maltese whose legs are weak and slide apart due to aging. Sometimes she either falls sideways or her legs slide apart on the hardwood floors. It is amazing how well this item works. I have been trying a lot of products to help her, from anti-slid socks or booties, adhesive paw pads, and even a dog wheel chair/cart. So far this one has been the best. I use the sling to walk her outside to do her things and exercise and, since nothing had worked for her to stand while having her meal, I came up with the idea of attaching the sling to a regular human walker. And, it worked! Here are the photos.

Works for short walks
It does help but the Band/Pad tends to roll up as your walking. It has helped us in his final day's.

Works well!
Love this sling! It helps me a lot to help boost my dog up since he is a senior now, unfortunately. The quality is great, and you can throw it in the washer when it's dirty.

Simple and effective
Simple to use and makes a difference when you’re dog needs help up the steps. I’m not needing it yet but I have used a similar one in the past with another dog and it was great.

useful for dogs with hip issues and surgeries
We purchased this item when our large dog had her rear leg removed due to cancer. It is soft on the side that is next to her skin and the straps are adjustable making it easier for the person helping the dog. I would recommend this for larger dogs that need surgery.

Used this for 4 months & here are the pros & cons.
My dog is around 10 lbs so I ordered a small. Her back legs don't work too well and she loses her balance when she goes potty and needs my help.Pros:It's well made as far as quality goes and I love that it's soft on my dog's belly. I'm able to hold my dog up when she goes potty and this thing holds its shape so it doesn't roll down as it would if you were using something like a scarf.Cons:Personally, the design leaves a lot to be desired. First, it's too wide from the front to back legs for a small dog. It needs an inch or two removed. It wedges itself against her back hips and causes her to go limp or fall. I learned to hold the sling up and forward so it's closer to her front legs, but it takes a lot of work. When my dog, like many dogs, walks around in circles to find the right place to go I have to walk right next to her and I have to hunch over a bit to keep up the strap forward AND straight up. If I don't, she will either fall over or she'll get her back feet over the strap. With the straps being the length that they are I have to be so close to her that I can't make any missteps to prevent her from falling or escaping. Also, I'm 5ft tall and the straps are barely long enough. It is way too short for my husband who is 6ft tall.My biggest gripe with this sling is that there no velcro to hold it in place. this means you have to hold the straps up firmly in the right position so your dog doesn't fall or get out of it. I'm hunched over walking in circles and holding it up and forward, but my girl can pull a fast one on me and turn quickly so if I'm not on it she can easily slide out of the sling. For a small dog, she has long legs so I think a short legged dog would have no problem getting out of it.If she manages to get her feet over the sling it's a struggle to get it back under her because she's trying to find a place to go but I'm stopping her, so even before I get it fully under her she moves and gets her foot caught in the strap which is a loop. I do like that the straps go across the front as well as the back for more support though. Basically it gives me a bit more control when helping my dog to balance herself as she needs more support on the back end. But, it needs a tube to go over the loops to prevent their legs from getting caught in them if they get out of the sling while on a pursuit of a poop spot.Btw, I did add velcro to this and it made a world of difference. Straps still need to be a bit longer though.
