Okay, I need to say that I am absolutely ADDICTED to Coconut Rice packs + (lightly-seasoned with 7 spices + 5 herbs) crispy-skinned & golden-outer, soft-inner Salmon (pan-seared + fried in a small dollop of Beef Tallow)… I have noticed that THIS particular multipack, albeit the same product, has noticeably off-coloured + rather 'starchier' rice, as opposed to the shop-bought single packs I usually purchase... I am used to this + the other brand's Coconut Rice being considerably whiter and a bit softer/less 'starchy' + with more coconut flakes in the rice; I still like this but it's nowhere near as nice/fresh-tasting as the superstore stocks... Although this may be an inconsistency, I am not certain, as I have only ever purchased the one 6-pack to date... (And no, they are definitely not out of date/expired - they smell identical, only subtly weaker (barely noticeable), but this is a product I know so incredibly well that any alteration/differences seem significant & prominent to me... And being on the Autistic Spectrum, I do NOT like change!!). I will most likely go back to the store-bought packs as they are super consistent & much more reliable! They are quick to prepare, just tear an inch into one corner to allow steam to escape and microwave for 2-3 minutes depending on the power, simple. (I purchased during the sale when it was a little over £4). ***(IMPORTANT UPDATE)*** I also purchased a Basmati multipack and experienced an even worse result!.. Even more dry than this one and happened to be chewy and bland/flavourless just as I found with THIS one! I made sure to try ALL x12 of the two multipacks and kept thinking that the next pack wouldn't be the same, but each and every single damn pack from BOTH multipacks were NOTHING like the exact same product but store-bought! The packs from the store (which I was getting the Basmati AND the Coconut ones for a year), are very juicy, soft, beautiful, are full-flavoured, have desirable textures & are overall PERFECT... And then I was taken off-guard by these horrible packs that totally ruined my 12 meals and marked the day that I would NEVER buy this online again - even though it comes from the same seller (no third party) and is in-date!? Makes no sense! (I tried everything to replicate how they should be, like they ALWAYS are from the store and could not come close!). Shame. Got a full-refund. ***
