The highlighters were purchased because I wanted to differentiate between two different numbers on paperwork without having to grab another highlighter. These markers do the trick using just one at a time, the markers were also a very reasonable price for what you get. Glad I found these. I'm only giving four stars for longevity because I've only been using them for a short time and I'm not sure how long they will last but there is plenty on "ink" in the well so I'm sure they will last a long time.

Daughter picked these out as an alternative to ones her friend at school had and she loves them. They work really well. Would buy again.

My son’s middle school requires that he carry in a ton of school supplies - even though he isn’t allowed to carry a bag in school. These double-ended highlighters allow him to save precious space in his overcrowded pencil case. If I had one wish though - I would like the highlighters to be doubled with varying colors, not just always yellow with another color. For example: pink/orange, yellow/green, blue/purple combos would allow you to carry 6 colors in just 3 pens.
