Ordered the Green & Received the Orange ....
This is a really nice small water bottle that seems to be well made and the pouch and rope appear to be well made. You can now have water where ever you go hands free and an added little pouch for a phone or a power bar. I was not too pleased when saw that I got the wrong one at first, yet the color grew on me fast and I think I will keep it. Its a very cool unique little item that looks like it was made to last for many small adventures both urban and on the trail.

Nice size
Nice size for short hikes or city streets. It is utilitarian but with style.

Feeling like a cowboy
The media could not be loaded. I like canteens, it gives me that cowboy sort of feeling, so when I saw this one I thought why not give it a try.The company that puts this product out seems very environmentally conscious. From the package it arrived in, too the strap and canteen cover.Let’s break this product down into three parts: the canteen, the canteen cover and the strap. The canteen is made of a BPA plastic, it seems sturdy enough for its intended purpose, it’s neither too heavy nor light. The cap is not attached to the canteen which I like, if you prefer it attached to lessen the likelihood of it getting lost then a short piece of paracord will work. Even though the plastic is not porous, I would dare say that if you put a dark colored juice in it, that it could leave a stain on the inside and would be difficult to remove. Like any canteen, cleaning the inside can be a challenge. The canteen cover is sufficient for its purpose. Being slightly expandable it can be used to wedge a few thin things into. As far as keeping the contents cold, I would say, don’t hold your breath. I see the cover more as a means to carry the canteen versus providing any realistic insulating advantage. The canteen slides in and out of its cover with very little effort. The canteen strap is extremely well made. It’s more than heavy enough for carrying the canteen. The ends are sealed and it’s available in a few different colors. I elected to remove the strap and use an old camera case strap I had as it was lighter and my canteen usually stays in my pack. I think you could tow a car with the original strap, I definitely would keep it.So overall I like this canteen, it’s well made and is of a convenient size. The cover dresses it up nicely and it should last for years to come. Having said that, I believe it’s priced a little high.

Best way to stay hydrated while hiking
LOVE the Canu Canteen. I tried it for the first time a few days ago. I always have trouble staying hydrated while hiking because I don't like using hands-free hydration systems (think the water winds up tasting like plastic and dislike sipping through the tubing and valve) and find carrying a water bottle cumbersome. The Canu Canteen is the perfect solution! The carrying strap fit comfortably across my chest, and the canteen was easy to access whenever I got thirsty. I positioned the canteen so that it was slightly behind me (rather than at my side) and it sort of nestled in the small of my back and didn't bounce around at all. In fact, someone on the trail who passed me from behind saw it commented on how great it looked!

Great item!!!!!!
What I like best about this product is it is easy to carry and easy to clean! In comparison to the packs with a bladder that are very difficult to clean. You can also store cash, keys easily and have everything together!

Genius! Simply the best!
I take this everywhere! Not just for hiking! I carry enough water for myself and my dog when we go on long walks.. especially in this heat wave. Her collapsible bowl can clip onto the strap. It’s aesthetically cool, and just such a great product.Wonderful gift idea for those adventure seekers!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! I may get a few more for myself~

Good product
Being that this is plastic, it doesn't keep water cold for long periods of time but it's great for a few hours if you refrigerate it 1st.

Nicely-sized water canteen that is easy to take with you--very convenient
This is a nicely-sized neoprene and recycled plastic canteen with strong strap. The canteen itself is not overly large, which is a plus for medium and short hikes/trips. The neoprene is medium to thin thickness, which is adequate. The colored strap is nice and bright and very durable. The sleeve does have some give to it so that you can put small incidentals in with the canteen. Great place to hold a few things. I ordered this for small walks and hikes and it does work PERFECTLY for that purpose. Looks nice to boot. I love that it is from up-cycled/recycled materials--Even the packaging it arrives in. As long as you do not expect a large water canteen and you are person who takes pride in our planet and cares about reusing/recycling and looking good while doing it: This is a Great product.
