Advantage: You do not have to worry about exposure to the sun, air, high or low temperature, or any natural environment. They will not be affected at all, easy to store. They measure about 2.5 inches and are also wonderful for staging photos or videos.

These look more like tangerines than oranges.

So yeah, plastic oranges. Well, kind of, these are more mandarin or tangerine than naval or valencia. So don't think "tennis ball", think "slightly bigger than a golf ball". They are a nice pop of color from across the room, but aren't realistic enough to survive scrutiny from less then 10 feet away.They lack any variance in color or size and the only difference in shape is based on being crammed into the box.But they are OK...just set your expectations accordingly.

These are a good size and shape for mandarin oranges, but they don’t look very realistic. This is mostly due to the color- it is an extremely bright and totally even orange (I think it isn’t quite the right shade, too). The skin is quite bumpy (with bumps that stick out from the surface, not like the little dents on citrus), in a way that does not look quite right for this type of orange. The bumps are small, however, so this isn’t too bad if you aren’t inspecting closely.If you are looking for something that will normally be seen from more than a few feet away, and especially something where the colors might be dulled by the location (like in a vase on a shelf without a strong light), these will work well. If you want a base to do some detail work with paint to make them look more realistic, they would work well.

I had these sitting on my kitchen counter near my fruit basket. All of my kids kept getting confused on if they were real or not! Super cute!

Really cute props. It's lightweight and hard. My cats likes to take some and lay with them lol

I wanted these for decoration in a glass jar in my kitchen. The color is very bright and show well on display. They do not have any variations in tones like someone mentioned but I look at them more like a mandarin orange which usually are pretty consistent. They are a good size to arrange in the jar which I like. Overall, I do believe they are a good value at 16 in a pack.
