My kitchen clock stopped working so I needed a replacement quickly. For the great price I wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised, it looks really good, is super quiet and keeps great time. Looks really durable but only time will tell.

Looks great. Keeps time perfectly. It doesn't tick as the seconds hand is in constant motion.One star off because the hands are in the same colour as the frame so you can't see them against the background in low light.

Had to return a supposedly silent clock from another brand because it started ticking, and then spent hours fussily searching for a replacement. This (style 8 ) topped our short list. Wanted a 12" clock with a white face, clear bold symmetrical numerals, and well proportioned hands that could be clearly seen. The hour hand had to be much shorter than the minute hand, unlike some, so you couldn't get it wrong way round when glancing at the clock. We did wonder whether the yellow hands might be too reflective but that isn't the case. They add elegance. We mounted this clock against a magnolia wall in a living room, and both the yellow hands and the light brown surround look really good against the wall to highlight the clock face. The clock comes with its own wall hook and pins to fix securely to a wall. Our other electric clocks all have the + side on the right of the battery compartment. This has it on the left, suggesting the mechanism isn't one of the generic 'run of the mill' units. Hoping that's indicative of better quality... but only time will tell :-) Delighted with our purchase! It comes packed inside a protective foam bag inside a cardboard box, with an additional sheet of foam inside to help protect the perspex face. It uses one (cheap) AA zinc carbon battery (not alkaline).

Sadly my first one fell onto the floor and shattered (due to a fault of my own) but because i loved it so much i got another. Lovely and no ticking!

Looked nice and didn't tick which was what I wanted. However it stopped working after 6 months, even with new battery. Just stopped functioning. I'm trying to return to seller for a refund but no mean feat via Amazon's convoluted customer complaints system. I will persist!
