Very comfortable, clear sound and solid all-round headset
Picked these up mainly for gaming and they’ve been really solid overall. First thing you notice is how comfortable they are, the memory foam ear cups and headband make a big difference, especially during longer sessions where cheaper headsets start to hurt. They’re clearly designed with comfort in mind and it shows. Sound quality is very good for the price. It’s nice and clear, especially for things like footsteps and directional audio, which actually helps in games rather than just sounding loud. It’s not super bass-heavy, but that almost works in its favour for gaming as everything sounds more balanced and easier to pick up. The mic is decent as well. It’s clear enough for voice chat and doesn’t pick up too much background noise, although it’s not quite at the level of a standalone mic. Still perfectly fine for Discord and in-game comms. Build quality feels solid too. The frame has a sturdy feel and doesn’t feel flimsy like some cheaper options, so it seems like it’ll last. It’s also easy to set up and works across pretty much everything, PC, PlayStation, Xbox, which makes it really versatile. If I had to be picky, it’s not the most “punchy” headset for music or films, and the mic can be a bit hit and miss depending on setup. But for gaming, which is what it’s made for, it does the job really well. Overall, a very solid headset. Comfortable, clear audio and good build quality. Great choice if you want something reliable without going into the really expensive range. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for Gaming - A great value, quality product. Very happy.
As a former semi-pro FPS player, and having had gaming as my primary hobby for 40 years, I am really impressed with this headset. It is very, very comfortable and can be worn for long hours without any discomfort. I wear glasses, and often headsets press them into your head and after a while it hurts. This one doesn't do that, it is very comfortable even while wearing glasses. Secondly it looks and feels like a quality product, the brushed aluminium extenders really feel like a good design decision and add to the feel of luxury. The microphone is excellent quality, good enough for online karaoke - and very clear on Discord, WhatsApp, and in game. Sound quality is absolutely perfect for games. You can easily hear where your enemies are coming from in FPS games and RPGs and the closed cup makes it very immersive. They have a lot more mid and top range, not as much bass, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend these for listening to music, but for gaming they are very, very good. Great value, quality product. Very happy.

Crystal Clear Audio & Comfort – Great for Gamers Who Don’t Need Wireless
🎧 Sound Quality The wired HyperX Cloud III delivers excellent clarity. In games, footsteps, voices, and directional sounds come through clearly, which is a big advantage in competitive play. The bass is present but not overpowering—if you like really heavy bass for music or movies, you may find it lighter than the older Cloud II or Alpha. 🎤 Microphone The detachable boom mic is one of the highlights. My teammates immediately noticed my voice was cleaner and more natural compared to my old headset. The LED mute indicator is a nice quality-of-life feature. 💺 Comfort & Build Long sessions are no problem thanks to the memory foam ear cushions and padded headband. The frame feels solid with its metal construction, yet the headset is still light enough to wear for hours. The only downside is the faux leather earcups, which can get a bit warm during extended gaming. 🔌 Connectivity & Features Being wired, you don’t need to worry about charging. It works straight out of the box with PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and mobile (via 3.5 mm or USB-C/USB-A adapter). On PC, you can use the Ngenuity software for EQ adjustments and DTS:X spatial audio if you want extra immersion. --- ⚖️ Pros: Clear, balanced audio (perfect for competitive gaming) Excellent detachable microphone with LED mute Very comfortable for long gaming sessions Durable aluminum frame with quality padding Works across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and more ⚠️ Cons: Bass is lighter than previous HyperX models (Cloud II/Alpha) Faux leather earcups can trap heat over long use Spatial audio and EQ features are PC-only --- ✅ Verdict If you’re looking for a plug-and-play wired headset with crystal-clear sound, strong mic performance, and all-day comfort, the HyperX Cloud III is a fantastic choice. It doesn’t deliver booming bass, but for competitive gamers and anyone who values clarity and durability, it’s one of the best wired headsets in this price range.

Amazing headset and can wear for hours
Alright, over the years I have experimented with several gaming headsets; but, the HyperX Cloud III? pure beast. Right from the box, it seems opulent. The memory foam headband is really comfortable, the ear cups are rather nice, and the building quality is excellent. The kiss from the chef. During long gaming sessions, I have been wearing this item for hours and it is rather comfortable—no pressure headaches, no ear difficulties, only pure comfort. Let now discuss sound. Regarding the angled 53mm drivers, what else Fantastic clarity. The bass strikes precisely, powerful but not overwhelming; the lows, middle, and highs are all very clear. In FPS games, footsteps? One may find it really easily. Fires? Boost. Books and pictures as well as music Also really good. And the surround sound improves the whole immersion experience using DTS Headphone:X spatial audio. Mic Quality? A+, None of that tinny, robotic noise observed in less expensive headphones; the detachable noise-cancelling mic is quite clear. My colleagues saw right away a difference. ✔ DTS surround sound improves the experience ✔ High-quality microphone free of background noise ✔ Superior comfort for extended wear ✔ Immersive sound for gaming and media ✔. Like PC, PS5, and Xbox. 😌 Cons: Wired, but the quality offsets that. The HyperX Cloud III is certainly worth the money if you desire a premium, no-frills gaming headset that performs on all fronts. I would buy once again in a pulse. 🎧✨

A legendary gaming headset
This is truly a great gaming headset. As someone that's used audiophile and studio grade headphones, this headset is very close in terms of sound quality for what you want in gaming. Picking out footsteps in a shooter is a breeze with these. The build quality feels great and is very comfortable to wear for many hours at a time. The mic is tuned perfectly for anyone on party chats or discord to hear you clearly. You can also hear them clearly too. It works for pretty much anything PS5, PC etc. and they even give you an external USB soundcard so you get a clear noise free signal instead of the motherboard's built in audio. I cannot recommend this headset enough, they look, feel and sound great!

I love this headset!
I bought this to replace a wireless Logitech G935 that was starting to disintigrate and wow what a difference. I went wired with this headset because I had lag and wireless interferance with the wireless headset. This HyperX has amazing sound quality - I've tested it with music, movies, games, and discord chat and I can't believe the upgrade in sound quality I've gotten. Going wired over wireless so far has been a great call- I don't really miss the benefit of being wireless and no longer have to deal with lag or interferance. Also the HyperX is super comfortable- I used to get sore pinched ears wearing the Logitech but these are so soft and fit so well around my ears. The HyperX is also lighter and fits the shape of my head better. I really wanted the Pink and White headset but I wasn't willing to spend another £35 pounds for it- I have to say even though red/black isn't my favorite color combo this headset looks nice. It's sleek, well made with quality materials and all the cables are very nice and long with quality nylon wrappings. Overall I am *very* happy with this purchase and wish I'd made the change sooner.

Reasonable for the price
This is a budget headset. I paid ~£50 for it, and I feel like its comfort, audio and mic are all reasonable. Not GREAT, but certainly more than acceptable given the price. I only use it for work and occasionally music, so I can't comment too much on the audio quality. I normally use a Sennheiser Game One for all my other needs, which is a wildly better item. The build quality seems decent, but it's very early to tell. The bad stuff: - No detachable cable. It's the most common point of failure, so not being detachable really harms repairability - The packaging made it really hard to figure out that there was a cable extension hidden BEHIND a black plastic thing

Great and comfy
Great headphones they have insane sound quality and are so comfy the mic is amazing almost like my studio mic but my only downside is that it's not good for bassheads like me.
