Worked for my 1989 Ford Bronco
I think some people may be using this tool wrong, hence some negative reviews...I used this tool to COMPRESS the fuel line connector and fuel rail port TOGETHER on my 1989 FORD BRONCO. I simply could not exert enough force to squeeze them together AND slip my fuel line disconnect tool under the retainer spring at the same time.I did not have to touch the blue disconnect tool; when I used the pliers to compress the fuel rail port and fuel line connector together, the connector simply slipped over the blue tool. Once the blue disconnect tool was under the retainer spring, I removed the pliers and had to work the fuel line out of the fuel rail port while keeping the disconnect tool under the retainer spring and it finally slipped out.It did take a lot of effort to do that by virtue of how old the original fuel line is, but it eventually came off with some coaxing. I took a couple photos of how to position the tools, without reinstalling the fuel line (I wasn't going to do that another time just for show). I hope this review helps anyone who has or is considering purchasing this tool.

Have not had the chance to use it Yet, But Pliers Feel and Look Well Built
These Pliers Look & Feel Solid, No Sloppiness in the movement, Nice Thick Metal and messing around with them i could not get them to flex, though i was not trying To Strength Test them or nothing like that, I bought these for some upcoming wrenching that i have to do where i need to remove some lines.Depends how the wrenching goes i may have to come back and Raise or Lower my Star ratings but from first impressions with these pliers i think i will have to come back and Raise my Star Ratings.

Perfect fit
Works perfect for bmw power steering hoses. I wouldn’t even try disconnecting without this tool.

Use it once and it will more than pay for itself-
I am a huge fan of the great content offered by Youtubers- Free. Use this tool, shipped fast, at a reasonable price, once and it will more than pay for itself. This is how DIYers fill garages- Cluttered, but all paid for- Go for it. If one man can do it, so can you. youtube it!

They don’t necessarily help
You’d think it’d be miracle but it’s really just false hope. Push the hose in while you push the disconnect tool in and it’ll seat and make a click noise, don’t pull until you hear the click or you’re playing yourself (I’d know). This didn’t do squat on my 04 duramax fuel lines but it’s well made
