This is just for some help in what you might want for a large game pond and is just what I was looking for but for people with no background in anything like this you are going to need to get some help from someone who knows what to do and certain laws and codes for your area.

We were curious about some of the things we'd need to consider if we were to make our own 'duck and fishing' pond. This pamphlet touched on the basics, & we're happy with it.

Hey!I don't know much about building ponds, and I didn't even really buy this book for myself. However, I do find the book to be filled with reliable and important information. Do I think this 32 page book can give me all the information I might need to actually build a pond? No. Of course not. But it's a starting point, and a pretty good one, too. For the small price, I think it's worth it. But I do suggest you get some further information before undertaking such a serious operation such as building a pond. For that matter, I wouldn't suggest taking that on without at least consulting an expert, if not having them build it for you. Especially if this is your first time building a pond.One thing to know, there are a lot of pictures. Unfortunately, they aren't as useful as they could be, as they are small and in black and white. Great little pamphlet to help you learn where to start researching how to build a pond.

This little book has alot of information. We are in the process of adding a pond, and this book has been helpful.

Very little filler and to the point. Informative and utilitarian read that leaves out unnecessary babble. I like these books!

A bit more pond than I wanted. Great if you want to put an old fashioned pond on large piece of property. Not the backyard pond I was going for.
