Bought as a gift - I have one myself and love it. Perfect size (8in/20cm) and with the wide opening jaws, it is possibly the only adjustable most people will need. Beautifully designed and manufactured. Long, tapered jaws which open wide, with a smooth adjustment and negligible ‘play’. The handle is covered in a comfortable silicone type material and they just ooze quality. The only way they could be better is they were supplied with plastic jaw covers for sensitive or polished surfaces (like Rothenberger wrenches).I have now ditched my Bahco 8in adjustable (not an older SE model - those were excellent) and another 6in wrench as this is better by far.I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I need an adjustable wrench/spanner that is not too large, as plumbing is often done in tight spaces. The Irega is just right, and can adjust readily between large pipe fittings, such as the fixings for ball valves, and smaller fittings. A person who has a couple of these wrenches probably does not need another. The quality is great. I could wish that I had been able to find a product like this many years ago!

I am an ex-navy engineering officer and I have been working as an engineer in the off-shore oil industry for well over a decade. Traditionally everyone carried a Bahco adjustable with them in their pocket for general use and I have used Bahco adjustable's for years. It is not often that I find a tool worth upgrading to but in this case I have, the Irega is a better tool. The Irega is high quality and engineered to last. I recommend them as a first choice to anyone who uses adjustable's on a regular basis.

These are superior to Bahco now. How many times, in the past, have I looked to the Bahco to undo that nut and the jaws weren't opening wide enough? This Irega never lets me down, with its small physical size and huge jaw capacity. Well constructed as well.

Much better made than I expected. Nice feel in the hand. Feels robust with no looseness or wobbling on the adjustable parts.

Actually opens right up to 42mm maximum not the 40mm advertised. Seems VERY well made, nice packaging and very sturdy product. Perfect...

I bought this three years ago and it's still going strong.No discernible slop/play, and very strong construction.
