Easy to use, great little gadget. So easy to measure up for carpets without moving a single item of furniture. Not used any of the other functions but imagine if I need to it will be simple enough to use.

This digital tape measure is truly impressive. I found the laser calculation to be both accurate and helpful for various measurements. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are supplied, along with a small screwdriver for easy battery insertion.A unique benefit is that the laser measure can count from the back of the device, making it easy to get into corners for accurate readings.A drawback is that the digital display does not read the length of the traditional tape; it only works for the laser measurement. The device doesn't claim to do this, but it's possible you may assume it will, given that it's digital after all.I find the build quality to be a little cheap, but considering its affordability, this is understandable.Overall, it's a very convenient and reliable tool. Highly recommended!

Very good once you've figured out the settings which didn't take too long must have tool for the garden shed

Sometimes it measures incorrectly when using the laser. For example, I put it on the floor, pointing to the ceiling, and it read 0.8m (!). I did other readings which were fine, tried again, the ceiling was matt white, and it still read a wrong measurement. Other times it measures fine, sometimes it measures wall-to-wall wrongly (e.g. 1.02m when it's actually 3m). When it gets it wrong, it is obviously wrong so at least I realise it's wrong and I measure it using the tape not the laser, but that's a shame.Also the instructions are very poor. I wish I knew this: To make a simple individual measure by laser, press the grey "on" button to turn the screen on, then press it again to turn the laser dot on, point it at the target, press again to "fix" the measurement so you can read it off the screen. To make a second measurement, press the same button again to turn on the laser again, point it, press the same button again to fix the reading. Repeat pressing ONLY the grey "On" button to (A) turn on the laser then point it correctly, and then (B) fix the measurement on the screen. Simple when you know how, but the instructions don't help.

Just use as a normal tape as its totally out of calibration utter junk

Although the measure is good and accurate the digital read out screen cover keeps falling off. i will be sending it back for a replacement
