This seems to be very accurate, and is an essential addition to your toolbox if you're in to track days, which was precisely the reason I purchased it.Operation is very easy, and you have the ability to display instantaneous dB, or maximum recorded. It's easy to switch between the two modes.The screen is illuminated, and very clear.A case of some kind would certainly earn a 5th star.

I’m not convinced that this is showing correct noise values. Compared to other noise meters I have, it reads differently.

I wanted to measure both the noise from my lazy spa but also the noise from my neighbour and this little device works brilliantly. The guide shows you the recommended noise levels and everything was quite thoroughly explained. The hardest job was putting the batteries in - but only for me - my son did it in one second.

You need to ignore the instruction to calibrate it using a reference sound. I was about to return it but emailed them first and they explained it is already calibrated.I can’t comment on the accuracy specifically as I don’t have a reference point. But I bought it to help with sound proofing my car, so I’m only interested in changes in sound level, and it seems good for that.

The media could not be loaded.  Tja das einzige was mich am Gerät etwas gestört hat ist die Idee das man es mit einem 1khz Signal bei 94db kalibriren soll.Wo ich solch ein Signal herbekomme keine Ahnung.Also kann ich nur darauf hoffen das der Hersteller die Kalibrierung sorgfältig vorgenommen hat , da ich keine vergleichswerte habe.Ich habe gelesen das Klatschen 100-120 Db sein sollte ich befinde mich da im Rahmen und gehe einfach mal davon aus das es stimmt.Ansonsten finde ich die Verarbeitung und die Idee wechselbare Batterien zu verwenden sehr gelungen und bin absolut zufrieden mit meinem Kauf.

Un peu curieux : le silence n'existe pas (mais de bcp) pour ce sonomètre, il faut déduire !
