Easy to use, just plug it in. Worked for my 2025 Jeep Gladiator and 2020 BMW M2. On the Gladiator I reset the halogen lights to LED and on the BMW I was able to "register" my new battery. Saved me alot of money from paying dealer. Works with JScan (iPhone) on the Jeep and with BimmerLink on the BMW. Recommended.

Worked great without issue. Manual was able to tell me which adapter to select in a third party app. The scanner was able to clear multiple warning codes and change car settings normally only available at the dealer. No negatives that I know of so far. Left it in overnight without any issue to battery drain. Long term reliability is still to be seen, though.

Wow. These are so much better than the old strictly DTC code readers I was able to easily check and monitor the short term and long term fuel trims (STFT/LTFT) on my son’s car which enabled troubleshooting of a persistent P0071 too lean condition. I use it with the CAR SCANNER PRO app which can be had for free or upgraded to pro like I did for a one time payment of like $15. So many parameters can be monitored and added to a custom dashboard so you can watch them live even.

Works week with Ram Promaster 1500 van. Took a bit to get it connected, but after that reliable. Doesn’t seem to drain the battery to leave in all the time. Would be nicer if it had an altitude reading, my last one did and I didn’t realize that wasn’t a standard engine reading. Use it for a digital speedometer on 2019 van

I used this unit on a 2019 4Runner, paired with CaristaOBD app (subscription based - on their app, this Veepeak unit is listed as "Kiwi3"). After plugging it in, the blue LED illuminated, signifying it has power. Using the app made connection, setup, & use a *breeze (it connected as fast, if not faster than my phone does to the car stereo). I was EASILY able to address all the items I sought the pair for. The best thing about this Veepeak, is that I don't have to 'marry' any single app, in fact, there's plenty of free & even better - 1-time-purchase apps that fully utilize the Veepeaks specs. It handles everything from the customization options that Carista offers, to the more DIY mechanic oriented stats of something like AlfaOBD (older vehicles) or OBD Fusion (more modern). The Veepeak is very small, comes with a rugged box, & can be swapped to multiple vehicles in seconds. This unit punches well above its pricetag.

So I used this device to re-code the ECU/ECM on my 2013 Mini Cooper (R56). For that purpose it worked great. I was able to edit the ECU and unlock a number of features. For example, in the stock configuration double clicking and then holding the unlock button on the remote will wind the windows down from the key fob. However there’s no way to roll the windows back up from the fob. I was able to change the roll down function to pressing and holding unlock just once, and enabled the window roll up feature by pressing and holding the lock button on the fob. I was also able to disable the seatbelt chime for the passenger front seat since that’s where my dog sits and it was incredibly annoying to have that going off the whole time she was up front. Next, I was able to enable some cool lighting features. For example, I enabled a module in BimmerCode that keeps my fog lights on while the high beams are on or while they’re flashed. I was also able to turn off hot and cold bulb warnings for a couple of lights (I have a modded rear bumber with fog lights from the JCW so I needed this to prevent errors from showing). Finally, I made a few changes for quality of life. I turned off the seatbelt chime for the driver seat since I always wear it and the constant reminder was just a little annoying. I enabled the option to automatically fold in the mirrors when locking the car, enabled the mirror to tilt downwards when putting the car in to reverse, adjusted the digital speedometer to show an accurate measurement instead of the slightly modified number BMW shows with the factory settings, and a few other relatively simple changes like that. I never had any issues with connectivity or any other problems with the Veepeak device. It worked flawlessly through all of this re-coding. From what I understand this device will also work with apps like “Torque” where you can connect to a tablet and show gauges like coolant temp, oil pressure, etc., right through the tablet. I believe you can also read codes through it as well with the right app as BimmerCode is able to clear any codes with every re-code. So there’s a wide range of what’s available to you with this device as long as you get the right apps. From what I’ve seen in my personal experience, there’s no reason to buy the more expensive options when the majority of your costs are going to come from the app purchases you’ll need to make anyway. Also, some people have complained that the Bluetooth devices or Bluetooth low energy devices like this have a problem with data transfer speed. I personally didn’t see a problem there. Re-coding was quite fast and I doubt the WiFi versions are any faster as I believe the bandwidth bottleneck is with the ECU/ECM and not with the transfer protocol itself (Bluetooth/BLE/WiFi).

Compatible avec plusieurs applications de diagnostic (Torque, Car Scanner, etc.). (Certaines applis peuvent être payantes.) Permet de lire et d’effacer facilement les codes défauts. Donne accès à plein d’infos en temps réel : température moteur, consommation, vitesse, etc. Compact, il tient dans la boîte à gants sans souci. 👉 En résumé, c’est un accessoire indispensable pour surveiller l’état de sa voiture et éviter les mauvaises surprises chez le garagiste. Pour le prix, c’est vraiment top. Je recommande à 100 % !

Decent price for a car diagnostic. Easy to use and to read Dashboard codes and other values. Depends on the user if it wants a more comprehensive software (paid or subscription) or some free ones. With that being said, there are options where you can chose from and it's actually going to help you with your decisions before going to a service.
