BriersWarm All Seasons Gardener Gloves, Claret, Medium

Beware - the sizing has increased dramatically since the previous version
I have bought many, many pairs of these gloves over the last few years. I'm a female professional gardener and I find that these are the only gloves that can withstand what I put them through! They're warm, robust, have good water and thorn resistance and last for so much longer than any other glove.I finally reached the point of needing some replacements and I noted that the description said they were an improved design (they really didn't need improving). When they arrived I was so disappointed that they have dramatically increased the size of what Briers call 'medium'. I have fairly short but broad hands and these were a perfect fit for me, previously. They are now many sizes too big - there's at least 2cm of space at the end of each finger and they're much too wide - they fit my husband's much larger and longer hands.Unfortunately, it seems that there is no such size as 'small' - a little odd. Why do companies only make robust gardening gloves in sizes that are generally aimed at male hands? I've tried all of Briers other styles and none are up to the job - much too flimsy. My quest to find the perfect glove now begins again, such a shame. It would be helpful if the packaging actually stated 'men's medium'.

Massive!
I get through a lot of gardening gloves and always buy medium, including Briers ones. These are huge. My fingers are nowhere near the end of the end of the gloves so it would be impossible to use them for weeding. Also where is the warm lining? I was trying to replace a previous Briers pair which had a fleecy lining and are warm but sadly these appear to have been discontinued.

The best there is!
I'm a professional gardener and I use these winter and summer, five days a week. The best for grip and comfort and literally the only glove I've ever used that doesn't wear out within days or weeks. I've tried so many brands but this cannot be matched.

Fantastic Gloves
Love these gloves and have ordered 2 more pairs. I work everyday in a garden so will say I only get 2-3 weeks out of them but this is good going in comparison to other gloves I've used. Thick enough to protect against nettles and most thorns however the Berberis still got the better of them!

Good gloves
Comfortable to wear when using secateurs and pulling ot weeds. However, you cannot tackle bramble bushes with thorns or spikes on as the needles go right through the rubber. Other than that, pretty good pair of ordinary gardening gloves.

Hardwearing and warm.
Excellent gloves for general use around the garden although not suitable for pruning thorny growth as they are not puncture-proof. I like the Nitrile covering which ensures a good grip when handling tools and heavy items.

Sizing is very generous so buy a smaller size.
I have had Briers gardening gloves before but this pair of Medium is too big for me so my husband is wearing them. I have arthritic hands so need good movement but they were a bit too big.

Really impressed
Really impressed with these gloves. Waterproof except the wrist area, fit good, have been happily trimming back holly and sorting the veg garden for the winter. They seem robust and well made. A good price too.
