Nice fishing rod, sensitive touch.
Nice fishing rod for my bait caster reel. Has a sensitive touch handle. 6 foot length with 10lb test makes a great combination. I'll circle back and post what I catch with this.

Nice basic rod
Very lightweight and fast action two piece rod. Haven't used it yet but seems like a decent rod.

STRONG FAST ACTION FISHING ROD
This rod is very well made with lightweight but strong ceramic guides. The rod is stiff giving a fast action that will set the hook quickly in the bony mouth of a huge bass. I paired it with a spinning real I purchased a few years ago. I will probably add 6 pound Stren fluorescent line since I generally fish for trout on The Cherokee Reservation or in local trout waters. I plan to give it to my grandson for many trips to Cherokee. They have 2 ponds that are great and once he learns the nuances of trout fishing, this rod (2.1 meters or about 7 feet) will work great on the large wide rivers and creeks on the reservation. It is also long enough to reach areas in the smaller streams to dangle bait for the trout in isolated hidden areas. IM7 is an older material but I have owned an IM7 GRAPHITE FLY ROD FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER FELT THE NEED TO UPGRADE. IT is fast setting upon a bite, has a great feel and you can feel the slightest movement of the line or a strike. I look forward to trying out this modern day IM7 graphite rod. It feels great in the hand. Good balance and strength combined with fast action, I think my grandson will enjoy this fishing pole for years to come. From trout to pan fish to bass and larger species this is a versitle rod you can grab and "GO FISHING"!!!

Horrible quality
I didn't expect much from this rod due to the price but I did expect it do do better than 20 dollar jawbone rods. I had 4 fish in a row I couldn't feel bite it because the rod isn't responsive enough. Then when you try to set the hook it doesn't have the backbone to get a good hook up. Then on top of that the hook saver is non-functional. I will be returning this rod.

Good looking, strong beginner rod
I didn't get a picture with having a Kastiking 3000 reel attached to rod while fhsing on the river the other day. With that being said,Great Rod! I highly recommend this bass fishing rod. Strong Quality Baitcasting Rod with Super Polymer Handle. This rod is an excellent option for both beginner and regular fishermen. The rod feels incredibly good in hand, it's lightweight and well balanced. The super polymer handle provides a comfortable and secure grip, even in wet conditions. The rod is well-constructed, with high-quality materails that make it feel strong and durable. The IM7 graphite blank is sensitive and responsive, allowing you to feel even the slightest bite. The guides are well-placed and the reel seat is secure, giving you the confidence to set the hook and fight even the biggest fish. One thing to keep in mind, is that this rod may not be strong enough for Jaws, but it's more than capable of handling any bass you'll encounter.Overall, I highly recommend this rod for anyone looking for a high-quality and reliable fishing rod. It's perfect for both beginners and regular fishermen and it's a great value for the price.

Great Rod Performance, Few Annoyances
To be clear about the rod configuration I'm reviewing, I ordered the "B-Blue Casting, 7'-Medium-Fast" rod. When I saw this rod listed, I immediately knew what reel I wanted to pair it with (an Abu Garcia Revo-Inshore reel that has royal blue highlights). This is now the 2nd rod I've ordered from OneBass, so I had a good idea of what I would be receiving. For a 2-piece rod, this stick performs really well, and the rod's joint doesn't seem to impact its performance whatsoever. It's light, and very comfortable to use. Like I mentioned, I paired this rod with the Abu Garcia Revo baitcaster, 15lb braid, and a 1/4oz jighead with lure body. The rod tip provided plenty of action to toss that weight bait, though I would want a lighter action rod for baits any lighter than 1/4oz.Some things I like:- The larger double-footed eyes closer to the reel seat are very nice, which I hope will reduce the likelihood of the line wrapping the eye in windy casting conditions.- The appearance: the rod is finished very well, and looks very stylish with my Abu Garcia Revo Inshore reel.- The rubberized grip just below the reel seat is very comfortable to hold, and is an upgrade over standard foam.- The weight and action of the rod. I ordered this hoping that it would perform as well as the other One Bass Rod I ordered, and it definitely performs to those expectations.Things I wish were different:- The lure-keeper above the reel seat is useless, unless your hook is the diameter of a roofing nail. I guess it was intended to be a convenient way to just pick up your rod and "reel" your lure free of the hook keeper, but in practice I found my lure getting free and dangling/tangling around during my boat ride. I ended up just hooking my jig on the foot of the first rod eye.- The small grip above the reel seat is all plastic. It feels like this should have been given a foam or rubberized grip.- The grip at the butt of the rod is all foam, and I wish it was made out of the same material as the piece just below the reel seat. For reference, the other One Bass fishing rod I own is the "Spirit Flame Rod/Reel Combo" in the "A-Blue-Cast-Right Handed, 7' Medium Heavy-Fast" configuration. That rod has a lot more of the rod handle rubberized, and is now one of my favorite rod/reel combos.

Good, lightweight rod
I plan to use this for pier and shoreline fishing. It is very lightweight and has good flexibility. I am confident it will serve its intended purpose. Hopefully the fish agree...
