Good camera.
I have this camera for two years now. I'll start with strong points. It's really really well made. Fully metal, with rubber washers and seals in right places. Its weather proof. It's big, and visible ( suppose it's good if you want it to be visible)It's reasonably easy to install and tune up.It's working. I know it sounds funny but nonetheless its functional. Now weak pointsTo be fair its only two that i think of but they are quite important.Image quality is good but not great. It's full HD, but I put it under the roof of two storey semi-d and picture is a bit grainy. I mean you can see picture in generally well, but it wouldn't be cristal clear. Because of that you can't really see faces of people well.Another point is software. Its really raw. Not easy to navigate, can't download files onto the phone. It's quite limiting. Software was the reason i wanted to give it 3 stars, but the camera itself is quite good.I also think it's quite expensive, but that's personal choice when buying i suppose

Does the job
I purchased this product and a reduced price for an honest and unbiased review. The camera itself works well and gives a clear picture during day and night. Camera is larger than I expected. My reason for 3 stars is due to problem screwing bracket into camera and also instructions could be a easier. The micro sd card is stored behind the lens. So you have to unscrew the front of the lens carefully. Not the easiest place to get to.I still have to go through manual to understand the alarms and recording to sd card.

Quality of this is amazing very very happy with it
I am really into home security and have been taking my time in selecting which cctv to use on my home as I want to know for sure if I am going to be spending this kind of money on a camera. Everything about it ticked the right boxes but the thing that clinched it for me is the fact you can see one that is already in operation somewhere. All you have to do to see this is Download the app Anyscene via iPhone App Store or Google Play and then Click to add a camera, Enter UXM5T1522RPR85BWCRCJ as UID and camerademo as account and password. Wait for online status and just tap to view Live! The picture is crystal clear in colour. It has IP66 rated waterproof metal housing, Wireless N, infra-red night vision, built-in DVR, motion sensor, email alerts and more. It is a HD Outdoor wireless security camera. If you do try the demo camera as mentioned before it is amazing and gives me piece of mind as it has an alert come up on my phone if there is any motion detected and I can view it instantly on my phone. You can view it on any device with Internet basically so you can view it where ever you are in the world. Once your setup there is no monthly fees or anything like that to worry about you are in control. It is a 1920 x 1080 pixel 1080p HD video I have it watching out the back and it is brilliant with Crystal clear images. A big bonus for me is the fact it has Infrared night vision to 50 feet with Automatic IR filter for true day/night vision. I don't have an SD card at the minute but fully intend to get one to use this to its full potential as it has a DVR microSD card slot for video storage up to 128GB your saved video can be remotely viewed from any computer or Android or iOS device. I intend to buy another 2 when I can eventually afford it so can have the front and side covered as this is an excellent bit of kit that I'm sure you will not be disappointed with. Haven't wanted to give something more than 5 stars before but this has completely blew me away with the quality of it. And although it says it is bulletproof I am not going to be testing that out even though it probably is. So all in all more than happy with this buy and would definitely recommend this hands down to anyone wanting to bump up security. Like many people on Amazon, I rely heavily on customer reviews being honest and helpful which is exactly what I have tried to achieve with my review. I was able to purchase this product at a discounted price in exchange for my review but I can assure you that my views and comments are completely unbiased and truthful. A rugged well built outdoor security camera with a lot of features and good backup
Hello and thanks for reading my review of the TriVision NC-336PW HD 1080P Bullet Waterproof Wireless Outdoor Home Security Camera System. The camera was supplied in a sturdy retail package consisting of a white box with printed slip cover. The various components were well wrapped and secured. At the time of writing this review the camera is priced at £249This camera has has a large number of features and should suit most situations. It is worth mentioning that a variety of similar models are available in the marketplace under different brand names. If you have never used or installed a security camera before you should make sure you have the tools and skills to achieve a successful outcome. Firstly decide exactly what you want to use the camera for and where you intend to install it.Obtaining a video feed can be either via Wi-Fi or by a cabled ethernet connection to a router or computer.Wi-Fi for your mobile device is the simplest method as all you do is download an app (anyscene) from the apple or android stores.Once downloaded open the app on your device with the camera powered up. The app will then find the camera and enable you to connect it to your home network, once this is done the video feed is available. You can also adjust all the settings from the app.For Wi-Fi via your PC or MAC the Camera Live app is required and at the time of writing was only available directly from Customer Services. One thing to be aware of is that Wi-Fi video streaming is very dependent on location, distance and interference from other networks. Line of sight is usually fine but add concrete and brick walls and things can look very different. You may be disappointed if your location is not favourable and this is not a fault of the camera just a limitation of the technology. For secure and difficult locations ethernet cable should be used and here more familiarity with networking is required. The camera is connected into my router. You can either log into the cameras ip address or again use the Camera Live appI have an apple IMAC and Synology NAS both of which now successfully interface with the camera. However for MAC the handbook specifies the use of Quicktime which is no longer available and initially neither my MAC or NAS could see the camera. Luckily Customer Services were quickly able to provide a link to version 6 of the cameras firmware which sorted out these problems. My NAS does not specifically list the camera as a certified device but it works fine if the generic ONVIF setting is used. From an installation point of view the camera has a single thick cable terminated with a large multi pin plug. The cable is attached to a breakout box which is housed in a separate waterproof enclosure to which you attach the power and ethernet cable. You therefore have two options, either bring the thick cable inside which requires a large hole or take the power and/or ethernet cable outside and also manage the thick cable outside. If you have POE (power over internet) you don't need the power supply cable.I chose to bring the thick cable inside as it provides the neatest installation.Once installed the camera provides both quality video and sound from the built in microphone. The automatic IR LEDs provide reasonable light over 25m and the sensitivity is such that the camera copes quite well in low light conditions. The incorporated motion alarm has variable range and sensitivity but as with all such features it is subject to false alarms. I have been quite impressed with the performance, features and build quality. The QuickStart Guide and Handbook are well written and very helpful, as is Customer Services who respond quickly if you get into difficulties. This gives confidence in the product and aids in achieving a successful Installation.I have posted some stills from the video feed both during day and night viewing. The night viewing is always in Black and White.I received a discount for taking the time to review this item and I hope you found my review useful.
