WHITINMen's Wide Barefoot Shoes | Canvas Minimalist Sneakers | Zero Drop Sole

Perfectly sized for very wide feet
Overall I'm delighted with these shoes for the price. They're plenty wide for my duck feet, very comfortable, and the canvas material feels very durable. The soles are definitely thinner than "normal" shoes, but that is expected for a barefoot shoe. Though it feels a bit odd, it is perfectly comfortable. These will be my new go-to shoes.

The most comfortable shoe ever
I absolutely love the feel of these shoes. I now wear them all day at work (gym setting). My feet are normally pretty tired and uncomfortable at the end of the day. After wearing these I realized it was my shoes the whole time! They are stylish enough and I would say the comfort of these shoes are the biggest highlight. I would 100% recommend you buy a pair to try, especially because they are so affordable compared to other shoes.

They’re INTENTIONALLY wide, people.
My usual shoe size: US 11.5-12 (women’s)Ordered: US 11 / EU 45 (men’s), WHITEI just got them, so I can’t comment on long term comfort or durability. But so far, they are very comfortable! I don’t have super wide feet from sole to heel, but I’ve been wanting a little more space in the toe box area for my bunions and wiggle room for my toes (apparently that’s part of why I have bunions. Who’da thunk). These fit great for what I was wanting! It blows my mind how many people gave these a low rating because of how wide they are. THAT’S LITERALLY THE WHOLE ENTIRE POINT. If you aren’t intentionally shopping for “wide toe box” shoes for a good healthy toe splay (google it), then these probably wouldn’t be a good fit for you! 🙂I personally like the look of the wider, rounded toe. I’m 6’ and have larger feet than the average woman (thanks mom), so I always think sneakers with a narrow toe makes my feet look long and funny. iiii think the width makes them look more proportional to my body and not “clown like” at all. But that’s just my opinion!I would say the canvas color is a true, clean, bright white. The laces and patch on the heel are a bit more cream…which I love!I docked one star for the outer toe area being caved in on both shoes. It was hard to capture in a picture, but they are just smashed in. I’m sure it was an issue with how tightly they were packaged together, and they’ll hopefully loosen up to their original shape with time and wear. I might stuff something in them to speed up the re-shaping process a little. It’s not a huge deal, nor is it a deal breaker…I just think a brand new pair of shoes should arrive good to go and ready to wear! 🙂All that being said, I would probably purchase them again. Even if they only last me a little while, you get what you pay for and the price was right for me! Hope this helps someone.

So this is what I've been missing
I was in the market for "barefoot" shoes and couldn't quite pull the trigger on a pair of Xero Shoes, though I'm sure they are great too. I've been wearing Chuck Taylor's for the last 30 years of my life and I generally love them, but I'm on my feet all day and those dogs have been barking louder than usual lately as my feet are very much on the WIDE side of life. I got a pair of the black-and-whites on a whim to try out a pair of shoes that are meant to accommodate the actual shape of feet and I was completely blown away. The shoes are stylish (I still love the look of Chucks), seem well put together and fit well though you should read the fitting instructions for sure. Most importantly, I was able to run around all day and my feet didn't hurt. It was almost like relearning to walk for the first few hours, but I felt like I could have kept going for another 12 hours. I've been working up to some sort of foot pain condition and it feels like I'm now working on healing. I love these shoes. I'm going to get a few more pairs in different colors.

They look weird, but they feel great.
First off, let's just get this out of the way: these shoes are not fashionable. They look funky, and my wife makes fun of me for wearing them. But I've gone on several long walks with these, and they really do feel great compared to the usual New Balances that I wear. My toes aren't crowded at all. My feet weirdly feel TIRED after a long walk, but I assume that's because I'm using different muscles than I normally do. And more importantly, they feel tired BUT THEY DON'T HURT.These shoes make me feel like an idiot for buying pointy shoes to cram my toes into for decades. Why the heck do we do that???

OK for the price, but dont expect more
The shoes fit as described, and look decent. Unfortunately the quality is not there and the sole insert is not very comfortable.

Barefoot begins
This is a great barefoot shoe it’s adorable and has a classic style with the wide toe box giving your toes ample room to spread out. 100% recommend for anyone looking for a barefoot shoe.

Thought these ran small?
So many comments about these shoes running small. Well, I measured my foot using the sizing chart ( I normally wear an 8.5 or a 9), and it said I should be wearing a 7!!! I went with an 8.5, and it is a little big/long. I like the roominess of the toe box though, and it laces up tight with no movement on my foot. I bought these to be river/stand up paddling shoes because I refused to pay 120+ dollars for Astral shoes that the soles fall off of in a year. These have what feels like nice soft rubber soles that should be grippy climbing around on river rocks. The zero drop and wide base of the soles also means stability while standing up going through rapids. The all canvas construction should also be sturdy too. The only thing they don't have that the Astrals do is drainage ports, but I never felt like those worked well on the Astrals anyway. Stay tuned, I'll update this when it warms up and I get them out on the river.
