Ordered 10/12 size for my 9 year old (he is about to turn 9). My son is tall and skinny, and at 8 years of age he has been wearing size 10. However, 10/12 size of this jacket is small. It's snug on him now; he won't be able to wear a sweat shirt underneath. I am exchanging it for a larger size. My other concern is that the bottom is a bit wide on this size. Will see what the larger size look like. If your child is not skinny or tall, the jacket will probably fit right in. But the color is great and vibrant. Definitely a great rain jacket.

If you simply order a size up, you'll be fine. For the price, this jacket is outstanding. Great windbreaker, launders well, well-made, great insulating layer, you wear layers for cold weather or not layer for wind or rain protection in warmer weather. It's got zip pockets, mesh lining, and great-fitting hood.

Great jacket. Would have loved for him to get a bit more wear out of it. But hey, you feed em, they grow.

My son 9 year old loves the jacket. Like a lot of jackets, sleeves are a tad long and it could be a little longer in the waist, but overall a nice, quality jacket.

My son is 10 but ordered 14/16 to last him a couple of years. A little big but I knew it would be. Goid quality for the price.

Bought this jacket XL for my 14 yrs old son fit him good and also fit me as i normaly wear small or medium jacket in woman size.

I purchased the largest size for my son who usually wears 14 after reading other people's reviews and it fits just right with just enough moving room.

So happy to have found this jacket online since all of the stores are already out of spring/fall jackets. A great color and a great fit. Very happy with it.
