For all the "old man" jokes things like this get, these do what they are supposed to do: keep your socks from scrunching down (a pet peeve of mine). Depending on the length of the sock, I have worn these both above and below my knee with no issues. I don't feel it during the day and they do their job very well. For the price I'd say it's a great value.

Think these are great for the price- wide enough that they don't cut, elastic is strong so they work. Clasps are a little cheap and not the easiest to open and close but again, for the price these are great

I bought these about a month ago and have the chance to use them 3 times so far. Overall I would say that they are comfortable and get the job done well! All 3 times I wore them they were on for a full day and my socks stayed up without cutting off my circulation. I will note that longer socks may be more of a problem because the strap would end up around my knee (I'm 5'4"). With socks that come up to the middle/top of my calf the strap was below my knee and this works well. From what I can tell they aren't visible through my pants which is obviously a good thing ;-)I will try to give an update after wearing them a few more times and with longer socks but based on my experience so far I would definitely recommend these for anybody who wants to keep their socks up and avoid them bunching up around your ankles.

I haven’t worn Shirt or Sock Stays since leaving the Marine Corps in 1998. Recently I realized I just can’t for the life of me find decent socks that stay up all day in my ARIAT boots. I finally broke down and chose these for the price and the reviews. I look for the bad reviews mainly and even then, they seemed like normal issues from every day use. Rusting buckles, wearing materials etc. So, took them 11 days to arrive which I’m ok considering the holidays and all. Can’t really be mad about that.Today, they arrived and I needed to go out. Grabbed my socks and my Sock Suspenders. It’s easier when wearing jeans to put them on and adjust the tension 1st, then get dressed. I walked around for about two hrs today never touching my socks once. Didn’t pull my leg hair really and got used to them really quick. I could really see these coming in handy for people that work in very cold environments having to wear Carhartt coveralls, etc. and not having to steadily stop to pull their socks up every time they turn around. All in all I can say I’m honestly pleased with my purchase. This isn’t a paid review. Always look for the bad reviews 1st on all products. Then weigh your options.

These sock garters are way more durable than I was expecting. They are also designed with double clips instead of the single clip design most men’s sock garters have. My main issue with these Garters is that if you are a skinny guy with skinny legs, these (will not fit you). Yes, they are adjustable, however, even tightened down to the smallest adjustment, they were still too large for my legs. I had to cut the elastic, remove a few inches, and sew it back together. Since I’m very good at sewing this was not an issue for me at all, but if you are skinny and cannot do any type of sewing to fix this issue, then I would suggest finding a different set of garters. I would have given these full stars if they would have been made to fit skinny people as well. Even though it only took me about ten minutes to fix the issue, I know the average person isn’t going to want to have to, or even be able to cut and re-sew these garters to fit a smaller built person. This could just my opinion, but I believe that sock garters are needed more for skinny built people, because our legs aren’t thick enough to keep socks up as well. So designing sock garters that cannot adjust small enough, is a terrible flaw. They should keep in mind that even though elastic can expand for larger people, it (Can’t) contract to become smaller than its relaxed state. So even though these garters are built like a tank, unless you are built like a tank, these will not fit you.

This product is almost impossible to hook together. I finally hooked them together and they worked great. They came undone when taking them off and ended up breaking in the process of trying to reconnect them. They are not for the faint of heart and you need to be an engineer or a welder to get them to hook together. It is too bad because I really liked them for the two days I wore them.

I got these to wear under a skirt to complete a look. I was afraid they wouldn’t look good and comfy; however, they surprised me. Also, they kept my socks in tack (i’m 175cm). Look forward to wearing them again!

Unfortunately, these did not work for me. Once attached to my socks, the adjustable part was about 3/4 of the way up my calf, I then tightened the strap. I then went for a 20 minute walk. Halfway through the walk they had partially slipped down my leg. I stopped and re-tightened to the point where it was uncomfortable. By the time I got home, the right one had slipped all the way down to my ankle. Just didn't cut it for me, had to return...

I find these comfortable to wear all day, they’re slim and discreet; however, they have started to rust and irritate my skin only after a few wears. The metal components should be made of stainless steel, and the PU leather should be genuine leather as it gets sweaty and doesn’t breathe.
