Q: Does this come with button cell batteries included?

To be honest I didn't feel this was worth purchasing as - I bought two and sent them to my nephews and the batteries that were in it had leaked into different toys in each set and when I contacted the company and asked them to replace them they said I had to send both complete sets back- so I suggested just the bits that needed replacing as both nephews were already playing with the other bits but the company wanted me to return the whole set. My sister said later that various other bits broke or stopped working after a few goes and her boys were disappointed as the idea of what they did was great but actual performance was not great at all. the boys were 5 and 7 at the time.

Eight year old very happy!

This was bought as a Christmas present for my 8 year old granddaughter, who was very happy to receive it. Must admit though, I haven't seen it since then and it's now July! Makes it difficult for me to comment on the individual elements of the set.

spy x is the best

Bought for my 7 year old grandson. He loved the kit. All 4 items are very good. The utility belt clips are sturdy and work well, however the belt material is a little short for an older boy. Pen, motion sensor, earpiece and light all worked well. Recommended despite concerns from other reviews.

A waste of money. The plastic snapped after one push from the 6 year old child. The ear piece is pointless. The pen is the only good part
