Topeak Rear Bike Rack

Nice sturdy rack. Easy to install. Good selection of direct fit add ons. Less than half the price of the fancy boutique brands.

Perfect fit and sturdy. My 2nd one…other one on my e-bike. Allows me to swap my slide lock Topeak bag between the two easily! Great quality and looks.

It arrived without a scratch and with complete mounting hardware. I've very happy with it and the seller.

First off, the basket was well-designed, well-made, and is very sturdy. It can easily carry several pounds of groceries across rough roads. However, I had a major problem with installation.The eyelet holes on the main stays were designed to be clearance holes for M5 screws that screw into the bike's M5 threaded dropout eyelets. However, my mountain bike has M6 threaded eyelets! My M6 screws unfortunately could not fit into the holes on the rack. I had to take it to a machine shop to drill into the aluminum and enlarge the holes in the rack. Besides the hole issue, I've had no other issues with this basket. I just wish it had been designed with oversized holes.

This rack comes in so handy. It has a place to attach my rear light. It is strong. It doesn't rust. And it has a special connection for Topeak basket. Definitely recommend.

It's great that the corresponding bag can be removed easily if leaving the bike unattended for long periods of time. If you like to bring all of "your stuff" then this works great.

I use this rack on my commuter bike. I have fenders attached to the same mounting holes in the frame as the rack, which works great but may require longer M5 bolts. In the second pic, you can see how I securely zip-tied a wire crate to the rack.I love this setup because, with a bungee cord, it allows me to carry small loads securely, in any weather, without any planning, and without any weight on my back.
