Fast and reliable
I discovered this brand once I got a refurbished computer, I bought 4 of these and they have been working non stop like a charm, of course I dont expect them to last more than 5 years but they are cheap and reliable.

Not expensive and excellent SSD
First time, I bought this SSD to upgrade an old laptop, and it speed up its boot time and overall performance. After that I have bought 4 more, and they have an excellent price for its performance. I have installed windows, linux and even a hackintosh on them, and not a single problem during installation. R/W speeds are as advertised on a sata-3 port, old laptop was sata-2 and even at that speed, its boot speed was far better than with the old mechanical drive.

A good value if willing to take risk on off brand
I found this SATA III SSD offered good storage for a low price. I use it to boot a Raspberry Pi 4 using a SATA III to USB 3.1 adapter. Simply flashed the OS from a different pi, set raspi-config to favor the SATA drive over the SD card. I then removed the SD card and plugged this into one of the blue USB A 3 ports on the Pi. It worked first try. Note: when setting up a Pi 4 or 5 to boot from an SSD, it will often boot and reboot itself several times on the first boot. This is not a bug or a problem. Once complete, it will boot WAY faster than with an SSD and the system will feel like a regular driver computer. Without the SATA SSD, I find the Pi 4 too slow to seriously use for programming or YouTube. With the SATA drive it is more than adequate for both use cases.Obviously, I can't speak for longevity. I've only had for a month or so but it boots every time and passes all tests. The performance is more than acceptable (sorry, don't have benchmark handy).EDIT Aug 31, 2024: Just bought a second one based on great results with first!

Good when working but a hassle for returns
I buy a lot of SSDs because I have a computer repair business. I am always open to find a new supplier especially when cost are low because I can help pass on the savings to my customers. So far, the SSDs are doing good. I have already purchased a 10 pack and a few loose ones and only 1 has returned. That's just the way it is with any product, they all have failures here and there, even Samsung and Western Digital. I got my first failure and I'm trying to do a return. There is no straight forward way to do a return. I tried googling it, and I get a ton of dead links and 404s. I finally just had to message the company and wait to see how they make me proceed. I would purchase with caution. So far I'm at a 1% failure rate, but if it is this much trouble to replace, I rather spend a bit more on Samsung or WD.Good product, decent speeds, definitely a good budget SSD. I wouldn't get this for gaming, but everyday computing is good. As with any SSD, make sure you have redundancy, you usually don't get a warning before it quits. I removed 1 star for the difficulty of warranty replacement.

Great Performance Upgrade for Lenovo
This is a real review from an actual purchaser (me), Last week I installed the Timetec 256GB SSD in my Lenovo Ideapad L340 API15, that is my laptop in the attached picture. It is just a standard basic laptop, the non-gaming version. When I first started this project I had trouble finding reviews on Timetec parts anyone had used in an L340. I started with just adding the Timetec 16GB DDR4 RAM because with the installed factory 8GB the laptop ran ok but only had about 2GB of useable RAM. The grahics alone used up nearly half of the original 8GB of RAM. I wanted to try adding more RAM to see if it would improve the performance of the computer. I ordered a Timetec 16Gb stick from Amazon, and then I thought of replacing the original hard drive with a SSD while the laptop was disassembled. So I did a separate order for the SSD the day after I ordered the RAM card, installed them both and it has been a really great improvement. My laptop runs better, more efficient, programs open and files copy so much faster with this SSD and better memory.I have a collection of about 55GB of mp3 music files on a flash drive, it used to take about an hour and 15 minutes to copy to the hard drive, but with the SSD it was done in 10 minutes. I don't play video games or do any video editing or any other type of heavy computer use, just internet, email and music playback with Pandora and I use Media Monkey to play my own local mp3 library. My laptop is 4 years old but for less than $50.00 the new memory and SSD made it run like a brand new computer. With the 256GB SSD my laptop is only using about 88 GB of the available storage. Startup and shut down are really fast now, each takes maybe 10-15 seconds. With the SSD my laptop runs noticeably cooler too. This has been an excellent upgrade and it was very easy to replace the parts.I should add here that I did not format the SSD and did not clone my hard drive. There was not much data on the hard drive anyway so I just installed the SSD and did a new clean install of Windows 11 from an ISO that I got for free from the Microsoft website and burned to a flash drive. That was also very fast and easy to do, then I just reset all my preferences and bookmarks in Edge and also added Firefox as a secondary browser.

reliable and consistent 2.5" ssd I have used
I do lots of data transfers and have tried all the lower, midrange and high end sad. I would solidly put this ssd in the middle range. Very very consistent transfer speeds and times. Lower cost with great speed.

Great SSD
Needed an SSD with a decent amount of space to hold a few games. It works great and coming from an HDD, my PC is a whole lot faster. Good pickup for sure.
